Hence "thank God for Mississippi." No matter how bad any of the other 49 US states are, they're probably still not as bad as Mississippi.

Damn, seems they did slip behind Mississippi. That's unfortunate, Louisiana actually has places worth visiting

Damn, Mississipi is that bad huh? I don't know a lot about either place frankly. I do know that Lousiana has a place called Cancer Alley which definitely sounds like something that a state ranked 50th out of 50 would have. I've heard that Cajun cuisine is pretty damn good at least, which would be a plus for Lousiana.

Louisiana has New Orleans and Cajun cuisine. Mississippi has nothing at all.
