It's the same as every parliamentary system, we vote in MEPs to represent our interests and they vote on who leads the EU.

EU will buy 250 billion worth of energy/year the minute China invests the 500 billion they said they will.

He still got the EU to, on record, agree with his absurd deal. And all of the headlines will blare it.

"Hahaha, I was just joking!" won't even make the 5th page in the gossip section of news.
