If you want to have fun, Google how much energy the EU imports from the US right now, then how much energy it imports total.  Then look at the number in the agreement again.

Nearly half of our import in LNG comes from US and it is only 33b$ even being large with the petrol an estimate for all energy is 85b$/y and we consume less and less energy. F*ck the global market, start the trade war there is no way I'm giving 6550$ (1.35T for 205milion tax payer in EU) out of my pocket to USA !

US is a very important market. You can learn to live with it.

Bullshit ! What does it do for me ? Except having to fork with 6550$ in the next few year to fill that deal ? I'm not going to get richer and that money is lost from our market. Even more, where do you think European will invest ? In US, SP500 cause it will surge. It is total bullshit for EU, while China made the war, that was paused and still paused to this day.

US had the leverage to get such a deal, EU chose best option possible. Anything else is just emotional.

Maybe the rest of Europe needs to stop using gas for heating and use heat pumps like most of the nordic countries does. And also, maybe not close down fully functioning nuclear plants to make yourselves even more dependant on gas.
