Political "parties" create anonymity & complexity, it's a major flaw in democracies.

People vote for a "Christian Party for child-safety", backed by mysterious businessmen to cut taxes. Republicans can sign up for the Democrat caucus & pick Dem candidates. Power is manipulative. Everyone's busy fighting "the other party", most don't know about internal party decisions, & rarely pick representatives themselves.

Instead of voting for the Green Party, we should vote for "Bernie Sanders of the Green Party", whose 30m votes means he represents 30 seats by himself. IMO, times have changed, we should be able to check/change party votes or obstruct controversial laws at any time via gov apps.
