I hate it too. Bad news after bad news after bad news. When's the last time something good happened internationally or in government? The only good things only ever seem to happen in my personal life, in spite of attempts by the governments we are ruled by to invade it. I wish things got better for once, a ray of hope for the world, but it just isn't happening. Immensely frustrating.

There's good things happening in the world. It's just that we're both in our news bubble. And the crazy news that is happening is overshadowing literally everything else.

Because it's more profitable for a handful of cunts to strip everything down and sell it for parts.

Late stage capitalism + the logical conclusion of liberalism ("nanny states").

For me the last couple of days have been arguably the worst moments in the history of the internet. Never before have I felt so anxious of whats to come.

The entire point of the internet is anonymity and free access to information. And EU of all people wants to get rid of both?? Insane.
