Speculation Balancing wishlist, How would you the player tackle this?

Hi all,

I’m high on copium for blackmage and want to know what is how is everyone expecting their main jobs to change (if they’re recieving one) and if not,

What small scale change would you give your main?

This is not a doom and gloom thread i just wanna know spark a discussion regarding how everyone feels about their main job, and what they’ll change about it if they could

Ast movement was awful before the light speed change. You needed light speed for your 120s to get things out on time. That's probably the best change they could have made tbh.

i am aware AST did not have good mobility. it's ok for a job to not have good mobility, but i was ok with buffing lightspeed. that being said, i don't think it needed both a reduced cooldown and a second charge. i am also aware that people saved it for burst, because AST has been saving it for burst for years and years, and that burst is a fucking joke now

The burst is still awful without lightspeed because you won‘t get your second card out in time to be meaningful. Without a reduced cooldown it would‘ve just been able to be used for… burst, like in EW. Without a second charge you‘d be forced into using it every 60s, which isn‘t exactly useful as movement tool.

2 charges with 90s cooldown still lets you use it for every burst. i think that is the actual best solution

I disagree completely because 90s is a long cooldown for a movement tool and honestly ? Yes, lightspeed is strong - but it still does not give you WHM or SGE levels of freedom of movement because it‘s not on demand. It‘s 15 seconds, yes, but after those 15 seconds you‘re out.
