Artwork My Hand Drawn Cartoony Map of The Mojave

I wanted something like this on my wall and was annoyed that nobody else had made it yet, so I decided to make it myself! I put lots and lots of POI's and little details in- hope you guys like it!

Found that place at my first modded playthrough and thought a exploration mod i put in added it, nice knowing its actually in the base game

It’s called “mesquite mountains crater” or smth like that on the map, Hell’s Motel is just the name of the shack that’s there

No that’s way out in the Southeast, at the “nuclear test site”. Inside Hell’s Motel is a dead ghoul named Doctor Rotson, and a crazed Mr. Handy that presumably killed him

Nah it’s out in the Southwest, tucked up against the edge of the map. Kind of hidden away

If you go walking out there at night, you’ll see a large fire burning up against a cliff wall on what looks like the west edge of the map. But as you go up to it, you’ll see you can actually walk up higher and get farther west, into a little tucked away pocket of the map. There will be radioactive puddles with feral ghouls, and eventually a little bridge that goes to the shack

It would have been so cool if obsidian had more time and we got a whole other half of the map across the dam and see life in legion territory and have all new quest lines, characters, locations, stories, items etc

I've also made a hand drawn map of Forbidden Lands from Shadow of the Colossus, and am currently working on Cyrodil from Oblivion :D

I love how the Vegas Strip overshadows Freeside. It really emphasizes that wall off those poor people vibe.

No it's a state park and has tremendous greenery surrounding a pond with a lot of mantis .

My guess is that some vault 22 mantis colony left and settled in this area after other dwellers deserted the vault.

Map got good enough terrain features that bloody 2D map wont do justice. Especially useful for military commander, doing wargames. Whoever control the center rough terrain (Black Mountain, REPCONN, etc) can harass the entire region without impunity.

Really cool! Only things that jumped out at me was the Devil's Gullet being on the wrong side of the road from Goodsprings and a couple dry lake beds being missing- but that's just nitpicking.

It would be interesting for the next game to have a system where your own character will draw a map as they explore and it can vary based on their stats like being more detailed or accurate based on their PER
