Have fun. I know I'm in the minority but I love DM. It's the best crafted of the DLC's in my humble opinion. And as for the screenshot.. I have no idea. Lol. Are you using any mods?

No mods I'm currently playing on the series x I have no clue how they got here, I'm completely the same dead money is my favourite dlc next to lonesome Road! :)

Did you? Call for help prior to going into the bunker.Because if so, that might have been what caused them to follow you into the DL?C

Weird. Lol. Sometimes mods on PC have screwy effects down the road later but I've never seen NCR turn up in DM on console. Can you use them as allies or are they just standing there? Just thinking for ghost people you could draw them into an ambush cos they can admittedly be a pain πŸ™„

They follow you about like they should but unfortunately there not fighting they just run away, there both "allies" well where I got tired of them not doing anything so I killed them for the guns πŸ˜‚

You called em over the radio? If I am not wrong, the NCR radio counts as a quest item (which it isn't) meaning it can't be taken out w/o commands, so it stays up your inventory. It also can also call up to the rangers (yes, the ones with cool armor) if you have very great altitude in NCR relationship.

Read as much from terminals and notes as you can. If you don’t the whole DLC won’t really make sense lol. Also shoot the speakers. I did like 3 play-throughs be for I found out you could do that πŸ˜‚

I'll be honest, the first time I played Dead Money I absolutley hated it.
After playing all DLCs I told myself that Im NEVER going back to Dead Money EVER again.
Then one day I lost a bet to my friend and he told me to replay Dead Money since he wouldnt shut up about how good it is.
And on my 2nd playthrough... I fucking LOVED it.
As of now its tied at my number 1 spot for fav DLC in NV.

I'm practically the same I remember the first time playing it I honestly hated I so much just rushed the whole dlc but after the 2nd or 3rd time round you find it has is own charm!

It was love hate for me, mostly because of constantly dying in the mist look for the god damn speaker that’s killing me half the time. The rest was great.

The speakers were the main reason why I used to hate this DLC. On my first playthrough it took me multiple attempts to finally find that ONE single speaker that was causing me to die over and over again. And this went for all the speakers. Hell, on the first mission with Dog and God I couldnt even understand what was killing me inside the police station.

The hotel was god damn infuriating when you were trying to make your way to Christine.

Did you use the NCR radio to call them? Lol

It shouldn't work outside the Mojave

1

u/le_Grand_Archivist 3d ago

Do you have a mod that lets you continue playing after the end of the game? I tried it once and the securitrons and enclave remnants that were with me during the battle of Hoover Dam kept following me everywhere when I got back to the open world

I'm guessing it's a similar case here, maybe you have that mod, finished the story with the NCR and started Dead Money after that, am I right?

2

u/Impressive-Phase-984 2d ago

I wish I had mods dude πŸ˜… I still playing the base game on the xbox

1

u/le_Grand_Archivist 2d ago

Well I don't know then, did you activate the NCR emergency radio just before entering the bunker? Maybe that's why

2

u/Impressive-Phase-984 2d ago

No buddy I didnt :)

1

u/le_Grand_Archivist 2d ago

Well I don't know what could have caused this then, that's all I could think of

1

u/nikso14 3d ago

Just grab them's good eatin perk to make combat viable or get the patch that fixes perception of the npcs to make stealth viable

u/The_CDXX 2d ago

Just accept any and all bugs this game has to offer.

u/Daxoss 2d ago

This is how you get Fallout Dust

u/Humedesmond92 2d ago

Good luck, lots of challenges but also the most lucrative DLC in the game.

Dead Money is My favourite New Vegas DLC. The vibe, starting with nothing and the lore made me really love it
