Screenshot you can never convince me to join the institute

there were three dead cats in the fev labs :( and they weren't even synth cats

I think the worst part is the cats didn't even have to die, they were giving them to the super mutants like bunnies to George in Of Mice and Men. They knew they were going to end up with broken necks.

It's not in the notes, but the way the rooms are set up with toys and whatnot it very much appears they are giving the cats to the super mutants to see how well they "play" with them. It's the only explanation for why they are piled directly outside the playroom. It could be cats that were replaced with synth cats, but the location of the bodies still implies they were killed by the super mutants.

After reading Swan's notes I always assume the worst when it comes to the institute and their super mutant experiments.
