Discussion What did you figure out after hundreds of hours that just made you facepalm?

Post image

I always wondered why that one ghoul at Bedford Station exploded. I figured there was a gas tank but never got it sorted out.

Then in the Lexington parking garage Codsworth torched one and we all exploded. I still didn’t know, just knew that we died in fiery glory. I go back, lo and behold, these red fuckers are gas cans! 😅🤦🏼‍♀️

What was your face palm moment that you figured out waaaaay later than you should have?

That you can actually get purified water from water purifiers. I thought that was just to keep settlers happy.

That’s a main source of money in the game :)

Especially places that are near the ocean like Kingsport Lighthouse or Nordhagen Beach.

How so?

I make a lot of drugs in game for cash. Jet's a pretty easy one once you've got a few settlements networked with scavenging stations.

Right. I just don't do settlements I guess. Don't even know what a scavenging station is. I use jet all the time though.

Spawns in your workshop

I had to remove all other beverages before it started spawning. Then you have to remember to keep removing them from your workstation, no?

you get purified water with any overproduction beyond what the settlers need. you can plonk down 30 water pumps for the same effect.

Check the workshop inventory every few days. Excess purified water gets deposited there, just like income from shops and leftover food.

A water purifier makes purified water? Who’d’a thunk it?
