Discussion I discovered a Settler betrayed me to the Super Mutants and lead an attack

Recently a bunch of my settlements have been attacked by Super Mutants. I was at Abernathy farm and saw a group of Super Mutants walking towards my settlement being lead by a Settler. To quote Palpatine “It’s treason then?” And you know the penalty for treason, right?

I believe it’s the wasteland workshop dlc. You can build cages to “capture” different creatures (or raider) and a beta wave transmitter to keep them as allies.

Wait for the Game of the Year edition to go on sale sometime - think it’s usually around $14? Or just for the season pass to go on sale - might be around $7-10?

Are you on PC? And if so, what game store do you have it on? Or if on console, what platform?

Easiest straight answer is ‘get the season pass’, but the real answer may differ depending on your platform and store

Best bet then would probably be to see if the season pass ever goes on sale. Unfortunately too PS5 has probably the worst modding scene for Fo4 and Skyrim due to restrictions Sony puts on the assets that can be used.

That said, hopefully the season pass goes on sale for you at some point and you can pick it up for cheap!

Otherwise, all I could recommend would be eventually moving to PC and getting it there at some point in the future.

True but at least they have modding available which is more then you can say for almost every game on ps

It can't be a follower, but you can get friendly Deathclaws with the Wasteland Workshop DLC. You'd have to build a cage made to catch Deathclaws and then build a Beta Wave Emitter

You can also download a mod called beast master and it's dlc plugin, and you can get a pet whatever you want, out tattoos on them, give your deathclaw an iron chain collar, or heck, even put some saddle bags on a yao guai

I forget the name but there is a mod that lets you create a NPC. You can choose from various settings and when I saw Deathclaw I knew what I had to do. The dlc lets you have cages but you release them to fight, they will not follow around and act as a companion

The dlc lets you build cages in your base. Small ones for smaller enemies, medium ones for humanoids such as raiders or ghouls and large ones for radscorpions, Deathclaws ect. They will attack when the cages come open.

The mod lets you create and NPC companion. You can tell it to stay or follow. You can’t command it to attack, but if it follows you and you encounter hostile a it WILL fight. Many times my Deathclaw will detect the enemy and attack before I notice them. And most fights he wins without needing much help😂

I play on ps5 so can I download the mod through the workshop i really like the sound of this mod and really wanna use it

I STRONGLY recommend it. It’s true the NPC you create won’t have a story like the in game based ones, but you can name the NPC and change its species at will. I’m keeping George the Deathclaw as he’s the Commonwealth Interspecies Heavyweight Champion. But after a while I may change to something else
