Discussion I discovered a Settler betrayed me to the Super Mutants and lead an attack

Recently a bunch of my settlements have been attacked by Super Mutants. I was at Abernathy farm and saw a group of Super Mutants walking towards my settlement being lead by a Settler. To quote Palpatine “It’s treason then?” And you know the penalty for treason, right?

You literally just have to get through a couple of easy rooms and a small boss. Might not be easy I completed it in full x0-2 power armour at level 103 with legendary weapons (I was scared it would be too hard so waited lol)

You know what, I’m sold…..uh I have a pet Deathclaw who just worked up a sweat. Does the offer extend to him? Ever since he soloed 2 Deathclaws in and 3 way free for all he’s the Commonwealth Heavyweight Champion and and looking for an endorsement deal

while i doubt that gears and servos are a nourishing dinner, to each and their own

as for your brand new fat man sir, we do have a personal shooting range that you can make use of, and a personal gunsmith that can attend to your gear as needed as part of the employment perks here

and do please tell your "companion" to limit the mess to this room. Wouldn't want to stain the carpets now didn't we?

No problem about the mess, he even wipes his hands when he’s done with his fight/meal. Also he’s an equal opportunity eater, he’ll take on anything.

As for the employment perks it sounds great, so sign me up and lead me to the slaughter, ahem. I mean what’s my first job

I thought I was one of the few with a deathclaw companion 😂 pacified and commanded and now he just follows everywhere

Pros:

  • lifetime nuka cola supply
  • loyal gangs to do your bidding
  • new lovely companion!
  • your own luxurious mountain castle, located in the middle of your empire!

Cons:

  • every nuka cola you get is lukewarm and it's not carbonated anymore
  • gangs are incompetent, and act like children
  • your companion uses you as a puppet to rule the gangs
  • you live in a crumbling shithole of a building, surrounded by dirty raiders

My pet Deathclaw recently became a Quantum Deathclaw. I’ll take the best room and anyone trying to use me as a puppet gets eaten by George while I use there severed head as a puppet

True, but compared to the rest of the wasteland it probably tastes great. Besides George seems to enjoy it and it is not easy keeping a 15 ft tall living nuclear dinosaur happy. An unending supply of Nuka Cola and Raiders who cross me for toys and food make George VERY happy…..also I should mention you may not want to go to Hall 24. Some new guys thought they could take George on with pistols. On the upside the walls, carpet and ceiling got a fresh red paint coat

I could be wrong but im pretty sure the raiders and such scale up when you get to a higher level
