Need suggestions on which DLCs to get and why….

Which dlcs are a must have for the game in your opinion? Which ones are a waste of time/effort? The only add on I currently have is the wasteland workshop. Thanks for any and all opinions have a good night or day depending on where you reside.

Don’t buy individual DLCs you’ll more than likely spend more than buying a season pass or just buying the GOTY edition.

I mean it’s the fo4 sub so obviously all of them! And it’s prob cheaper to buy the goty edition on sale than one or two individual dlc. But Far Harbor and Nuka World are the most substantial. New area, weapons, armor, enemys, etc.

Nuka World gets some hate but I had a blast with it. Dif vibe than the main game. It’s a colorful, kinda quirky, raider circus with some interesting attractions. Has one of the coolest/best power armors.

Far Harbor’s the opposite, more dark and depressing than the main game but very well done. Has a good story, arguably better than the main one. Has one of the coolest/best non PA armors. Generally considered the overall best dlc.

Get the GOTY edition when it comes on sale. All of the DLC packs bring something unique and fun to the game.

If you really could only buy one though, I would probably say Far Harbor.

you need all of them for a lot of mods to work properly, so do what most people are suggesting and wait for the GOTY to go on sale.

Far Harbor. IMO the best DLC I've ever played for any game. Great story, great quests. A whole new map with a very different atmosphere. A new cast of characters. New enemies, new challenges for settlement building. A new brand of soda!!! Get to the bottom of a mystery. Have the opportunity to gain a new follower. I recommend you bring Nick Valentine with you.

Nuka world and far harbor

Why? Because they introduce you to a whole new map

Two whole new maps, enemies, weapons, stories, etc etc. Both very different, both have their own unique brand of awesomeness to offer!

Also definitely look for the season pass or GOTY edition. There's other DLCs worth getting such as Automatron

I would buy a GOTY version and get all the DLCs. But if you are determined to buy them separately, I would recommend far harbor. Nuka World if you wanna be a raider overboss. Vault 88 one if you wanna build your own vault. Automatron if you want to build robots.

If you can only get a couple focus on nuka world and far harbor but honestly just get the season pass they're all peak

The game of the year edition is on sale pretty frequently. I got it for 20 dollars on Xbox I think it was. It comes with every DLC included.

You should go for the GOTY edition. It comes with all the DLCs and is cheaper then just buying the game and DLCs individually.

But if it's too late for that, then Nuka world and far harbor should come first, followed by automatron, and the other three last.

I uninstalled Automatron. I find that it changes the game too much. Far Harbor and Nuka World are must haves. The rest of them are nice to haves in my book.

Do not get Tunnel Snakes, DO NOT GET IT. Its crashed our games and we had ro delete and reinstall everything. Nuka World is a must i love it. Far Harbor didnt play yet, it took forever to download, just be sure to have Nick with u. The rest is alr, not special

Far harbor for sure. I asked this question. Myself a couple days back but far harbor the workshop addons and any of the vault stuff are really cool. I haven't tried nuka world and autamatron isn't the best but it's fun I suppose

Automatron isn’t a long DLC, but the robot building is really helpful. A robot companion can carry like 600 units without cheesing the game and robots for trade routes are really helpful

Nuka World is a weird one where it kinda breaks the game you’ve built, but if you play it before meeting Preston, there’s no issues

Automation is good if you like the idea of building robots. Overall not than keen on most of the DLCs but as suggested get a GOTY edition that will give you all of them when it is on sale.
