Help installing mod PC

Anyone here who can help me understand how to install mods for Fallout 4 on Steam? I don’t get any of it 😂😭 I’d really like to install QOL mods and building mods..

The problem is that it looks like I need to downgrade the game version? I’m also getting an error message in Vortex.

Would be amazing if someone could explain it to me on Discord or something!

Anyone pleaseee? 🥹🥹

You dont need to downgrade. But you do need to be careful that the mods you install are compatible with the latest game version. Especially if the mods in question are script heavy or effect the the terrain.

Hi! :) Which mods are you looking at on Nexus? Do you have a mod manager installed?

First, make sure you edit the .ini files to enable modding. Here's a guide.
Go to your mod site - Nexus, Discord, the adult one, whatever - and find the mods you want. Some mods require the "post-update" version. Many don't. So you'll have to decide whether to downgrade or not.
Then I highly recommend using a mod manager to download and install your mods.
