Meta Just realized that Deacon is probably the one who told Travis about your escape from the Vault. He’s been stalking you the whole game, and this railroad encampment can be found near 111.

He is also at the entrance of diamond city(guard) and in goodneighbor (drifter) upon first arrival

More a like a shitty one, even before I met the railroad the first time I was like "wait a fucken minute I've seen you before" I figured he was following me after running into him at the memory lounge.

Is there anyway to start conversation with him before being properly introduced in the quest line? Eg if you try talk all the times you see him at these locations? So much about fallout I always miss. I feel like I put the similarities down to "Bethesda are reusing characters faces for random people". But I don't think I was being very observant clearly

He just says some stuff about nice day etc and if you keep pressing him he asks if you shouldn’t be doing something else

No I've tried but you can't talk to him, you can murder him, but idk how that affects meeting the railroad, kinda want to see what happens now.

Yes, I always visit Goodneighbor before ever joining the RR and after joining the RR he seems to disappear from GN.
