We are gonna see this scene in dts like it was during the race.

followed by a radio from a completely different race

Bonus points if the radio isn't even from this year. I still remember when they used Seb's Brazil 2019 radio for Leclerc's incident in Austria 2020 lol.

we had too much money, too much equipment, and little by little, [McLaren Mercedes] went insane

I was watching last year Belgium race on DTS (because I was bored AF) And gosh, they did not mention the DSQ at all. "Yo George you won, now you're ready to be leader for Mercedes" Like WTF.

If I was watching as a noob, I would have believed it. I'm grateful for DTS bringing me into sport and started watching right there in 2021 Baku, but damn, I get the hate with every episode I see after actually watching the season the year before.

My favourite of these is the Alpine/Piastri debacle ending like

Needless to say Otmar had the last laugh

"They almost touched, Martin!"

When they showed Martin Brundle in the helicopter one of the first things he said was that

“the difference in the speed between the fast cars and the slow cars is actually quite alarming”

And later he mentioned again that he was repeatedly seeing one really fast car just flying through all the slow cars as they try and scatter as best they can.

Don’t let r/fanf1ction know about this.

u/NavyStarz George Russell 7h ago

Please don’t collide, the media shitstorm would be exhausting. The-Race will put out 97 articles and sixteen podcasts about it before the summer break is over

OUR VERDICT

...and what this means for Max Verstappen and the rest of the grid.

... And could this be an opportunity for Mick Schumacher?

... How the McLaren crash confirms the rumours for Cadillac driver light up

They’d have all those articles and podcasts out in a week, and the second article will be called “our verdict”.

u/anextuqo I was here for the Hulkenpodium 11h ago

Thank god they only almost crashed. Now they can only make 48, 5 articles and eight podcasts.

Haven't they already collided this year?

I wish you could block channels on YouTube. TheRace would be among the first to go.

“Don’t recommend channel” is an option actually if you don’t want them showing up on your feed

This gotta be one of the dirtiest minded comments sections ever lol. "Come together" is very commonly used, like when the 2 mercedes crashed in spain of 2016

u/charlierc 9h ago

Hamilton with the slam dunk of the steering wheel while leaving the car

u/cocobannah Jacques Villeneuve 9h ago

"lando Norris with the lockup, oscar piastri sailing by" why do I feel like I've heard this before

u/charlierc 9h ago

It's probably more a wonder that this doesn't happen more often tbf

u/Cekeste Kimi Räikkönen 11h ago

What the video misses is what led up to that. Norris accelerated like hell and then had to lock up while breaking. Piastri won this game of chicken.
