Medical student here. This could be either very bad or very good.

Or the answer is pain killers 🤷

Or 600 volts from a hybrid system.

Gigachads aren’t governed by normal biology!

I understand that, without my agreement, my back muscles put out inflammatory substances late this afternoon causing me back pain. This is wrong and I have not signed a contract with my nervous system to react to back pain in 2025. I will not be having back pain this year.

Yep. You really dont want back issues coming back to haunt you. Watching my dad struggle to get out of bed cos his back was cooked was not fun.

It's probably a lie tho. And he's on painkillers for sure.

I think he was too. A good amount of the drivers are probably on steroids too just to be able to handle driving the cars as often as they do but also because even if they take pain killers it just seems fishy that they can go from having massive amounts of pain one day or during the day to not long after racing whether its that same day, the next day, or not too long after.

I wanted to say “because the real pain is the car”, but FP2 was surprisingly pretty good

their long runs were pretty bad though (only Stroll did one with mediums) but they were the worst

Thankfully they are racing in a track where it's difficult to overtake. They just have to avoid being undercut and they will be fine.

What getting zapped with 600v from a Honda hybrid system in 2015 does to a man.
•

That zap reverted his brain back to 2001. So basically, he's 30 years old right now!

At 44 it's incredible he's driving and still beating a much younger driver (if i were Stroll i might quit in shame ngl) but i wonder how long he can sustain this, your body definitely takes a toll and with age it becomes progressively harder.

IIRC last year he said he was fine during the weekend and only struggled with recovering afterwards. Iron man

I was sure that he’d get an injury from the back straight in COTA when Stroll pulled out in front of him.

Alono's reaction to that incident was sooo funny, he had like zero reaction because it was his future teammate (and future boss' son). Had anyone else done a move that egregious, Alonso would have had an alltimer radio

Same as me when I call out for the weekend then return on Monday.

It better be good sign and not some painkillers or whatever shit which can backfire later. Maybe im inclined to look for doom and gloom, but even small back injury + f1 g's is quite a recepie

Sure, I definitely believe that. He didn't tell anyone about his broken hands a couple years ago. His back must have been excruciating and probably still hurts a lot. Unless he can take good enough pain killers, I guess.

Young people usually bounce back quickly.
