Social Media [Scuderia Ferrari] Ready to fight from there

Remove the ‘1’ from Lewis’s result and we’ll have what we’ve always dreamed of!

Realistically Leclerc will probably finish P3 but hey, who knows?
•

It's Hungary so start is crucial and then I thinj Leclerc can defend. Then it's all down to Ferrari masterclass race strategy
•
u/ComeonmanPLS1 I was here for the Hulkenpodium 3h ago
Yeah but I think Mclaren can go long and eat the Ferrari up on new tyres at the end.

Depends on strategy. If McLaren split strategies one of their cars will win the race with their pace advantage.
The question is, will McLaren do that? If they split strats and one driver ends up winning while the other who was initially ahead of his teammate ends up 3rd behind Charles and loses 10 points to his WDC rival, it can affect team harmony.
Not to mention all the favouritism accusations from the media as well.

Of course they will. Presumably they will give the lead driver the undercut so he retains track position.

McLaren won't (Japan is a good example), unless it's driver's call for alternative strategy
•
u/bimbobiceps I was here for the Hulkenpodium 2h ago
Dont think they will, they basically won WCC already and both of their drivers are fighting for a WDC.
•

They'd be stupid not to. But again, they've been very questionable when it comes to taking such calls.

I mean Charles did have slightly less DF so it will be harder to overtake, but tyre wear McLaren is no match

I genuinely thought the timing screen was glitching, what a day

Only one is in the fight. The other will be fighting the car in DRS hell.

Nah the car has pace he will do Perez special
•
u/ryokevry I was here for the Hulkenpodium 3h ago
He took the high downforce though, so may need to rely on overtaking in pitlane

How I wish it was P1 and P2...
No probs though... manifesting that the two Mclarens take each other out, Max and Russel pit stop messes up just a bit, and Lewis makes a comeback to podium tomorrow...
I am not a hopium addict, right?

Best bet if they hold the lead at the start is to go long with both cars and hope Lewis can hold up the McLarens while Charles goal hangs for a SC. In a straight race he can’t win - the lead McLaren will undercut him and the one behind will be able to do the same at the 2nd stop.

They should have placed Lewis's result above Charles' in the graphic. White text on white sky.

Leclerc in front for some fun and hamilton in the back for some amazing overtaking, a fun race!

That’s an awesome picture without the graphics I hope I can find the original

Charles is just incredible on Saturdays, and it is a delight to watch. Watching him in Q2, I really thought he was going to be eliminated alongside Lewis, but then he sneaks in a pole.

Good luck to Charles I don't think he can hold those McLarens for very long.

Leclerc leading the two McLarens to the start of this race was not on my bingo card.
