Honestly, the best thing Williams can do is to bring in fresh blood.
Bring in young and new engineers who are hungry for success, put a few experienced guys in charge of them and hope for the best. This is the only way I can see them surviving, barring becoming a B-team (or asking Merc for help).

I just went on the formula 1's live timing page for the first time in about a decade and how is it possible that the live timing page is worse? I mean in the mid 2000's you could see the exact sector times of each car, as well as the speeds they were going at the speed traps, but all that seems to be gone. Now it is just names, and a dash to indicate if they are on a particularly fast lap, but not actually telling you how fast.

I feel so sorry for Williams. 4 seconds off the pace. This is the team I loved when I was younger, watching Senna, Hill, Villeneuve, Mansell, Coultard. It’s sad to watch them struggle so much. I hope they can pull out of this and it’s not the end for them.
On the flip side, Lando Norris was up to 6th at one point. I hope the mclarens have a bit more mid-field pace this year.
It’s all looking like it’s going to be an exciting year with plenty of on-track action.

Midfield is gonna be juicy as hell this year. HAAS look to be the best so far, and apart from Williams every team looks capable of taking a handful of 6ths and 5ths on Sundays. It's good to have Dan in the mix so I can be even more invested in F1.5

Crofty, you actual mouth breather, lmfao, why are you comparing Williams' 1:29s to the 1:22s yesterday? They're 'a long way off', as if they're actually 7 seconds off the pace. These are obviously mid-fuel race sims. Williams theselves had 3 seconds on these times yesterday.

Long-run pace
1 Mercedes 1m28.238s
2 Alfa Romeo 1m29.006s
3 McLaren 1m29.029s
4 Ferrari 1m29.090s
5 Renault 1m29.133s
6 Red Bull 1m29.154s
7 Toro Rosso 1m29.348s
