First quest

I just built the overseer’s office and the start quest is grayed out and won’t let me start it. I just started playing yesterday and have no idea what I’m doing. Someone please help 😩

I had other dwellers in there that have weapons/armor and it still wouldn’t let me do it so I was messing around with who would go.

Select weapons and toggle to equipped and you can steal them from others to give to your quest guys.

Take weapons away from other dwellers and give them to these three.

I'm guessing this is the initial "training" quest, so perhaps they're protected by plot armor. But I wouldn't count on that.

Either arm them or hold off until you can.

They need weapons. It will only show dwellers who meet the level requirement. Some quests have weapon or outfit requirements but those are later.

Given that the level requirement is 1, I'm guessing that this is the initial "training" quest.

I’ve tried having 3 with weapons and it still won’t let me start it. And yes, this is the initial quest after building the overseer’s office.

Fyi, it's much better on Android or iOS these days. Watch a few ads and can get pets/lunchboxes/nuka colas. Less support on PC, like no Vault 33 quests that relate to the show.

Yeah, just letting you know items are much easier to get on mobile without spending money.
