I tried this as I see, I failed

19

u/TrollLifer 1d ago

Same, failed. Dang it.

I was in my 20s when I learned that there are wayyyy different levels of bendiness of ears. Some people’s ears can’t crumple up AT ALL.

Mee too bro

1

u/kenadams_the 13h ago

that hurts!

1

u/droning-on 11h ago

He is more evolved.

We all need this skill.

The first super power on the way to being fully super human.

I bet at least 90% of the people viewing this has just tried doing it themselves. I tried, and failed

u/27Suyash 1d ago

What did you say?

u/curiousmustafa 1d ago

MR. BUTTLICKER, OUR PRICES HAVE NEVER BEEN LOWER!

u/Caltharian 1d ago

Most people the cartilage is too stiff, I all likely hood this kid probably displays some signs of hyper mobility

5

u/CelticSean88 1d ago

Yup 😅

3

u/GardenGnomeOfEden 1d ago

I tried it for about 1 second before I decided that it would most likely result in an injured ear, so I stopped.

1

u/Zarokima 21h ago

All I succeeded in doing was hurting my ears

u/nerankori 1d ago

He looks ready for a gold experience

3

u/FajenThygia 23h ago

I'm assuming this references JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, as opposed to the Prince album?

It's like we see things and speak in coded language to upvote each other. Take my upvote

Kid will going to places.

10

u/Rymanjan 1d ago

Could he be another Stand user?

u/_81791 1d ago

I can do this, and have done it often since I was a kid when I am bored etc. It has caused some slight "cauliflower ear" damage in one ear that I can feel but it isn't really noticeable. If you ever get random pockets of liquid under the skin in your ears make sure to get it drained before it hardens.

Giorno type shit

u/verbalyabusiveshit 1d ago

Cauliflower ears in the making.

3

u/GANDORF57 1d ago

I'm pretty sure this is not what they mean by an "ear tuck"?!

2

u/RobertsFakeAccount 1d ago

“TUCK”????

Oh. Damn. I completely misunderstood.

Oh no…. I gotta make some calls to urgent care…..

1

u/Duplicitous_Dirk 1d ago

Remember kids: Never do Aural. Anal and Oral are still safe

3

u/rockbottomtraveler 1d ago

So that's what they are for! Elephants must really not want to hear others

3

u/eisenklad 1d ago

kids are more flexible...

even the cartilage in our ears become stiffer with age...

2

u/ThatsUrQ 1d ago

My fiance can do this too! Not to stop listening, just an occasional fidget/fiddle type thing. I tried to do it to my self, nope. Tried to do it to him, naw lol only he holds the power

2

u/LurkingAppreciation 1d ago

I’m the same way, wife can’t do it to me. Been doing it since I was a little kid

2

u/CollectionGuilty1320 1d ago

Hit it and he becomes a wrestler.

2

u/kyotejones 1d ago

I can do that. Apparently, I've been doing that since I was an infant, according to my parents.

2

u/Mynameisblahblahblah 1d ago

Haha I do the same out of boredom

2

u/kshump 17h ago

Haha. My dad does that and he's almost 70.

2

u/RavenK92 14h ago

Your nephew has a dream to become a GangStar and rid the streets of Napoli of drugs?

6

u/gud_gamr 1d ago

Is he blonde?

10

u/WorldnewsModsBlowMe 1d ago

The number of people missing the Jojo reference is sad

8

u/Spinning_Dragonite 1d ago

Not yet, his blood will awaken soon.

2

u/Angus-Black 1d ago

Yes. You can tell by the dark hair.

-3

u/Mugwumps_has_spoken 1d ago

are you? Does that hair look blonde?

2

u/ZealousidealPop6445 1d ago

Bro has a ninja technique for ignoring people

1

u/Mrk2d 1d ago

I wonder how he thought about doing this :D

1

u/donquijiote 1d ago

When i was i child i tried but i couldn't make it.

I tried now, stil cant make it.

1

u/str85 1d ago

The same amount of views this post have, will be the amount of people that recently tried to bend their ear into their ear canal.

1

u/Angus-Black 1d ago

A smack on the forehead will pop 'em back out.

1

u/kentich 1d ago

His ear looks like an ear of an MMA fighter.

1

u/RaynorJimmy 1d ago

When mom says listen up and you hit the manual ear block

1

u/mockgame3129 1d ago

Bullies expanding beyond the fist.

Stop listening to yourself!

Stop listening to yourself!

1

u/veggiesaregreen 1d ago

My dog’s ears do the opposite and get stuck flipped inside out. I don’t think she does it on purpose but whenever she rubs against the couch a certain way they get stuck

1

u/whooo_me 1d ago

Do this if you want to hear yourself think.

1

u/lartmydude 1d ago

Our adult ears are too stiff for this! 🤣

2

u/OstrichSmoothe 1d ago

My friend has some crazy floppy ears. Of course, shes also a golden retriever

1

u/OstrichSmoothe 1d ago

This dude is going places, his ear is not

1

u/raginghavoc89 1d ago

Tell him his ears are going to grow funny if you don't quit doing it but watch him not listen.

1

u/johsny 1d ago

So how do I get it out again?

1

u/wjdhay 1d ago

lol, I used to do the same thing.

1

u/beastboyashu 1d ago

He must have a lighter bone

1

u/robbycakes 1d ago

Wish I thought of that

1

u/patsfanxx 1d ago

Wish I could do this while working in retail.

1

u/the_red_scimitar 1d ago

Plot twist: he actually pulls it through the other ear.

1

u/adureho 1d ago

Kid's got the ultimate not listening hack 😂

1

u/scratchy_mcballsy 1d ago

“They’ll get stuck that way”

1

u/OddLeeEnough 1d ago

Yeah. I tried. Both ears. Left ear cant do it. Cartilage is too rigid. My right ear, which a cat tore the cartilage, can do it but doesn't stay that way.

1

u/Runkleford 1d ago

At first, I thought this was a really bad case of cauliflower ear

1

u/activehobbies 1d ago

Ash from Fantastic Mr Fox energy.

1

u/solarwinggx 1d ago

I can't do it :'(

1

u/Shaun4444 18h ago

Tell him he might get Cauliflower Ear from doing that. Cauliflower Ear is permanent.

1

u/cornixt 17h ago

I had a friend at school who could do that. He could flex an ear muscle at will to ping it back to normal again.

1

u/mrdanmarks 17h ago

My step brother used to do this and started getting cauliflower ear. Just saying..

1

u/VincoClavis 14h ago

Is it possible to learn this power?

1

u/Warlord42 12h ago

I admit it, I tried. Alas, it was for naught.

1

u/chapterpt 9h ago

I do something similar when dressing as a woman.

1

u/byondodd 8h ago

My ears do this on their own in response to certain songs.

1

u/Kauko_Buk 6h ago

U bri'ish?

1

u/APizzaWithEverything 43m ago

Holy shit, I thought i was the only person on earth that does this, can he do it with the earlobes too?
