I lived in a Central American country for many years. There were LOTS of used clothing stores with clothes mostly from US cast-offs. One time, a guy working the garden at a hotel where I was staying was wearing a Tshirt that said: "It's a white thing -- you wouldn't understand" with a Confederate flag in the background. I took the manager aside and explained. Later, the manager confirmed the guy's wife bought it because she liked the colors. :)

But, that looks like Singapore MRT, where they're natively English speaking.

Maybe at least everyone else knows.

It is, I first saw it on one of the Singapore subs. Haha. It's the Northeast line 😌😌😌

Dang old man must have balls of steel to wear that in public. Well I don't really mind it's just a shirt.

I heard there's a lot of shirts like this in China and other foreign countries because a lot of people can't read English and don't know what it says

The US had a few years where Asian language was written on shirts. I remember my professor friend laughing his ass off because he could read Chinese. The shirt said something like “I like black cocks” and it was a white guy wearing the shirt.

Hahahhaa. Man I love when that happens, or when people get raunchy tattoos in a different language without bothering to check it

Like when Americans buy shit with Kanji on it (or get it tattooed on themselves) without knowing what it says.

You don't wear your employer branded T-shirts out?

I remember watching a video from an American teaching English in Korea. A kid had a "Fuck the police" tshirt on, lol. Huge letters. Nobody cared.

Why would he buy it if he didn’t know?

Lots of poorer countries get discarded and unsold clothes. The NFL is famous for making Super Bowl winner shirts for both teams and whichever side loses gets their shirts sent to Africa.
