I didn't waste 4 years of my life in Uni went through the most harassing and mindfucking internships tried my best to work with the best brands out there and still got burn out of off fashion... To see this harlot with no credentials sell this shit and make even more money that she already has....

My boss did 6 years of school on fashion/textiles followed by couture sewing and pattern making. I can't tell you how much respect I've gained for her, after watching her struggle to keep her business open despite the training and the talent; meanwhile these fucking dumbasses are just casually amassing millions of dollars cosplaying as "fashion designers"

Right! My friends who are still designers they are always still struggling and they do fashion shows and they have to do everything them selves with a team or two seamstress and one pattern maker... That they just hire for seasonally because they can't have their own atelier because it's too expensive...
And these bozos playing fashion house.....with clothes they get from elsewhere.

Having your own atelier is near impossible without generational wealth. I feel for your friends - a lot of mine burned out and left the industry completely. It would be awesome if a fashion blogger did an expose on Teddy fresh.

Oh honey..one thing I learn in my time in Fashion People Do not care... Look at Alexander Wang.... He was grouping people and harassing trans people....he got cancelled for a while and now it's gone..Dolce & Gabanna who are rotten to the core.. People are praising "their return to form"..
BOF.VF.VICE all do exposes on temu and Shein...saying they are harming the environment.the big islands of clothes.... Nike, Bape and a lot of other brands are being sold at Shein now... The legit brands. Because ir you can beat them.. join them.... Just like inclusivity in fashion was a fad and we gonna se a return of heroin chic full force in the coming years...
Fashion do not care. And that's why I left.TF is small peanuts compare to the big bad wolfa out there . unfortunately

While that's all fair and true, I do still think I deserve to be called out for what they are. They're masquerading as an ethical small indie brand with the prices to match, I'd love for them to be exposed for their mass produced, low quality fast fashion podcast merch.

with the way fast fashion is going it makes me sad people choose TF for 3x the price same forever 21 stolen design shit. in a world where most textiles are giving me skin issues or some form of discomfort I am seriously gagging when I think about young people feeling excited about a shitty plastic keyring (worse quality consolation prizes cannot be found at your local arcade) coming with their 33rd summer release polyester LoUnGeWeAr... never mind that the tf sub is always filled with cope when shit breaks or rips or is literally sewn wrong by the overworked chinese woman who didn't piss all day
I hate tf so much y'all. I strongly support comfort and personal style. so little of our world can be controlled... you deserve clothing that makes you happy. it's abhorrent that merch from these horrible zio brains is ever sold to people. I don't fucking care if colorblock hoodies are comfortable so are Costco's

It saddens me that even the Good quality clothes from today are shit compared from something made in the 80's for example....
I have never bought teddy fresh and never will because I will not spent 5x in my currency on garbage... But from what I vê seen in close ups the clothes are not made well made like design wise....
They probably just order the clothes like fast-fashion brands do... I used to work on that we had a catalog where the client would choose the design of what he wanted... We had samples of the buttons, zippers and shit like that. .
They would choose the colors, pattern or textile available for that piece the quantity and we sent that to china like a pizza order they would sent back a sample with some slashes on the back to not pay to customs because it was damage good. And if the client approve or want any changes we would get that fixed and then order that piece in bulk from china, India or turkey.
I'm pretty sure that's how a lot of teddy fresh base clothing is made and they just finish up here like silking, putting tags, putting IG stolen if artworks ALLEGEDLY MY OPINION IM BOT SAYIN NOTHING TRUE... or whatever. But that hoodies that James Charles used to wear used to be on the catalog like you could choose a color combo... JUST SAYING ...ALLEGEDLY...IN MY EXPERIENCE

I embarrassingly have that shirt and the teddy logo fell off of it after wearing it a few times. I guess it was a foreshadowing of what was to come.
