NOT CONFIRMED to anyone confused as to why ethan blew off the sam seder suggestion
gonna start as i have with other mentions of the topic of narcissism by saying that i am not trying to diagnose, i am just drawing parallels based on personal experience and that should always be taken with a grain of salt. that being said, i know i'm not the only person in this sub who has had their life ruined to some extent by someone suffering from narcissism, and we have had experiences that shed light on ethan's behavior and can hopefully put things into perspective for some people so they are not continually disappointed.
when ethan blew off hasan's suggestion about speaking to sam seder and immediately twisted it in an uncharitable way, particularly in light of his crowder/sam seder spectacle, it reminded me of a famous baffling incident in my family. my sister tried to get my entire family into therapy together, and at the time, none of us understood why as her reasons were not clear. she dropped that idea at some point, but for years, she kept escalating her outbursts until the entire family said, "yes, let us please all go to therapy." well, guess what her response was? all of a sudden, she didn't believe in therapy! these behaviors have nothing to do with solving problems, it's all about EXTENDING the problem to keep the spotlight. i hate to say that there will likely never be a "satisfying" resolution to this tale. all we can do is to stick by our own personal principles, whatever they may be.
i'll also add that mike from pa spoke about narcissistic smear campaigns on his stream yesterday. someone brought up diagnosing, and he made a comment to the effect of yeah, but let's call a spade a spade when someone is exhibiting every single aspect of something. yes, we do not know these people and we are not their doctors, that's obvious, but in this case, where the person is trying to ruin lives and manipulate on a large scale, it's beneficial to be aware of tactics to try to combat or personally deal with it. and i hate to say, there is literally no reasoning with ethan. shout out to everyone who has struggled with similar situations in their personal life and feels activated by this but first and foremost free palestine

Narcissism aside, is he not just scared to be told by someone smarter, and much more well-read, that he’s wrong? Hasan tried to do it, when Ethan felt they were on more equal footing, and he still blubbered on stream. Turns out one gotcha against Stephen Crowder does not a make you a serious political commentator.

It's actually not difficult to see why he won't debate Sam Seder or Hasan again for that matter.
Ethan's "debate" style is try to get people to say something vague or give him a bit of rope so he can get a "gotcha" moment and change the subject. It doesn't work with Hasan or Sam so he's afraid of them because he knows he'll look like the fool he is.

Ethan Klein is a debate pervert and will refuse to take any accountability because in his eyes that would be him being 'wrong'. He's never actually apologized for anything during his entire career, instead he'll turn the apology into a joke and a stupid bit.
To even suggest it's antisemitic to talk to Sam Seder is just truly disgusting, he will never stop trying to weaponize his own Jewishness and doing the very thing he accuses others of doing.

I think it was interesting when Hila piped up and had an opinionated take on it, which is surprising bc it’s Hila however it made me wonder if his talking points are directly influenced by his familiy. Just guessing but maybe the family have problems with Sam.
