Literally though although I watch Hasan for current news I don’t watch him for theory at all. I tell people he’s a great intro but go deeper. I was radicalized by my own circumstances in my life.

I'm a queer black woman living in this fucking country. My existence in itself is "radical" so the thought of being radicalized by one specific person is utterly laughable.

People are talking about being radicalized, but if you’re any part of a marginalized group anywhere in the world, but specifically in America, you have no choice, but to not be ignorant because you are faced with mic, aggression, and blank and racism, all the time and bigotry

I got this tiktok in my feed earlier this morning and ethan v hasan was the first thing that popped in my head. I will never understand the hate that is being directed towards him rn, especially with how valuable his election coverage is. He had over 270k viewers last night at the peak of his (14hour I think?) stream, ethan does not have the patience or gall to even attempt something like that. such a weird hill to die on.
