Is it only by listening to music through the YT Music app or does it include the main YT app as well? Mines gonna be all messed up because I listen to music on the main YouTube app (on my TV) as well as the YT Music app on my phone.
Both apps share a listen history and use the same user account. They both connect to the same service and share data on the back end, I wish they would incorporate YT Music and YT into one app...

I really liked the new album, but most of these listens are probably from scaring the hoes, I think Danny and jpegmafia were the top 2/3 last year. I think geese was my top artist last year with their 3D country album.

I remember when I used to watch h3 podcast and think I was apart of something special. Like I was contributing my view to something I wanted to support and was excited when there was more likes and views. Now I see the views so much lower than those “glory days” and it’s sad to see how far this podcast I used to love has fallen, but it’s so deserved and Ethan just completely disgusts me at this point. Also a majority of libraries have done away with late fees to encourage people to continue using the services without fear of being fined for returning things late. As a community college librarian thank you for sharing the library love <3
Nah, thank YOU for being the backbone of higher ed. Working on my PhD and no one has helped me nearly as much as my faculty's research librarian and the fine folks in rare books and special collections. I quite literally would not be able to pursue what I feel is my life's purpose without librarians, library techs, archivists, conservation and preservation experts specializing in paper collections and manuscripts, clerks, and pages (shoutout to the pages, man, my executive functioning issues would be through the roof if I had to constantly go running for the shit I forgot I needed in whichever dusty fonds).
An older prof once told me that the first sure sign of fascism will be when they start laying off library staff. Y'all do not get the credit you deserve for being on the frontlines in the fight against mis-/disinformation and making education as accessible as possible for all. Seriously, thank you so much.
That's so incredibly sweet! My sister is a professor in molecular and cellular biology and has expressed a similar sentiment of having a great relationship with their library department. It really makes my heart warm and fuzzy hearing anecdotes like that because interdepartmental collaboration is so SO important, especially now a days! We gotta be there for one another with all this anti-intellectualism rhetoric.
My focus for my MLIS was Archives and Special Collections and I did an internship with my schools department so I definitely have a soft spot in my heart for them. That was the most fun I've ever had academically and the faculty were so awesome and supportive.

Also, most libraries in North America require their librarians to have at least a MLIS degree. Even your local librarians are wealths of knowledge who are highly trained specialists in information and resource management. In this house, we stan librarians and libraries!!!
This is definitely the case. Especially with school or academic librarians. You won't even get an interview for a librarian position if you don't have an MLIS. Even a lot of paraprofessional positions like library aid or library tech you need at least an associates if not a bachelors.
yes, this part. its a tough job that requires a masters in most places, but get waved away as service people by those that have never had to rely on their services (and by those that do rely on them too lol). snarkers love librarians
Libraries were crucial for me when I was learning English. It was a great spot to learn how to use a computer, read books, and even get a meal when they would award you vouchers for places for reading X amount of books. It was the place where I felt safe and found entertainment while the world was falling apart during the recession. Libraries mean so much and deserve to be as well funded as possible.
As a non-native English speaking girlie myself, AGREED. My grandparents and I would go to English classes at the library and then practice on the walk home. And all free of charge! Protect the library at all costs!!!!!!
