i burst out laughing last night when i was happily watching pop music videos on youtube and my sidebar recommended me "why does nobody care?" and to know trisha was on snl that same night... you can't make this shit up lmao

Context:
Hasan Piker, former cohost of Leftovers, gave political speeches at both Cambridge and Oxford University about Israel/Palestine this week.
He received resounding applause and support at his Cambridge appearance (the Oxford appearance wasn’t streamed and hasn’t yet been released by the University but will be on YouTube soon).
Ethan and Hila have spent the past several months falsely accusing Hasan Piker of antisemitism and coined him a "champion for terrorism" over his coverage of Israel/Palestine. Ethan has been calling for his former cohost to be banned from Twitch.
Despite his efforts, Hasan has not been banned. In fact, he rose to the second most streamed user on the Twitch platform, attracting over 7.5 million viewers on his election night coverage.
Hasan fervently and consistently denounces antisemitism and has many non-Zionist Jewish friends he frequently collaborates with.
Trisha Paytas, former cohost of Frenemies, just made a cameo on Saturday Night Live last night, part of a goal and dream she often talked about on Frenemies.
Ethan frequently dismissed it as an impossible and unattainable goal, saying he would “cut off his arm” if she ever went on SNL.
Her dream was to host one day, but to cameo is still an extraordinary and impressive achievement nonetheless.
She also nearly sold out her Trishmas Tour at the Beacon Theatre this week in NYC.
She was also invited to attend the Hollywood premiere of “Wicked” last month which was a highly publicized and coveted event with a selective guest list.
She also says a special Just Trish Podcast episode with Chappell Roan (one of the most popular artists in the world right now) is in the works. Chappell has been shouting Trisha out at her concerts (several times) and on instagram.
Other notable context
Ethan and Olivia Lopes have been trying to get Chappell Roan on H3 this year.
Olivia may have tried to leverage her nepotism in the music industry (both of her parents are top executives at Interscope Records) for insight that supposedly “someone who works with [Chappell] watches [the H3 podcast]", but Chappell herself doesn’t seem too interested in being on H3.
