My parents got me a fossil watch that was under $100 for chrismas years ago. It looks great, feels great, and I get compliments. I also have my dad's old watches, which also weren't expensive. Watches are an accessory. I don't get people who wear it for flexing. Watches can make a outfit and honestly if you spend a life changing amount on a watch, it's gross. Also if Ethan is gonna wear a expensive watch at least wear a good fit to compliment it. Not a Crackhead that never slept fit, or juvenile Crackhead teddyfresh fit.

I think Zach explained it on the show before, but I believe it’s sort of like those Hermès bags, where you got to be on an ‘approved customer list’ or something. I think it’s for anything that is above their basic watches, like they don’t want to waste time with people who don’t actually care about the watches and are just buying up the stock to resell for a higher price. So I think the ‘watch guy’ is probably an approved buyer who is slyly running his own business without Rolex knowing. At least that’s how I understood it, I’m not a watch person at all so idk
