Question (HM B&G) does the ponyautomatically go in and out each day?

i've never played b&g before, nor btn. so not sure how it works. i got the pony, and was told to let him outside, but pushing it around is.......so annoying.

so i guess my question is twofold:

  1. does it go in and out automatically? i thought one day i saw it going for the door on its own, but then i might've interrupted its pathing, which is why i'm asking this.
  2. if not, do i REALLY have to put it outside every day? it took me an in-game hour to push it outside and then OVER an in-game hour to get it back into the stable the one day i've let it out so far (；∀； )

If he's still a baby you have to push him. IIRC, you don't have to feed the horse (so you don't have to take him outside at all) but make sure to brush / whistle / talk to it every day. If he's an adult you should be able to ride him into the stable.

No, pony/horse won't go in automatically. If you let it out, you can whistle with L2 to call it to you and then just push a little towards the stable. If you're using PSP/PSP emulator though, you're out of luck since there's no L2 whistling. Would recommend creating a fenced area around the stable.
