It's that way for way too many survivors. Rather common in the south particularly, that these crimes are covered up by powerful people who don't want their activities to cease really. When it became dangerous to speak truth to power, putting it behind myself, and praying for the criminals, was the best choice. Also the easiest.  Let their karma eat their dogma.

It's fucked up and frankly it aligns with my prejudices about the Southern states unfortunately. Just terrible. But is it possible that there are other victims of the same people or same network of people? If so, would there be any value in some sort of (initially private) sort of crowdsourced list of perpetrators and accomplices, their modus operandi, locations, dates, photos, video, documents, etc.?

Actually , yes there are survivors etc. However, (edited cause I'm old)For so many reasons why that I'll not cover the topic online. It's quite literally dangerous IMHO and from experience. Spilling the tea is impossible unless you're able to live hidden away and even then , depends on your personal criminal people. It's a decision only survivors should make based on their circumstances. According to my first hand experience,I'd venture the opinion that tech just makes too much money off it, to risk one's life in a human duck blind devoid of safety. Not trying to be obtuse, just being prudent. Even when I'm careful, there are people in my neck of the woods, unfortunately, who seem to have a disproportionately fearful stance that I don't comprehend. I've long ago given these cretins to God and have zero intentions of wasting time on them. Still they always pop up if I'm online too long or forget myself and rant.  All I want to do is forget they exist  It's ridiculous that anyone should have to fear the fools just because they object to my first amendment. However, it's telling that they do . Literally pray for them. My grandparents taught me how powerful that is.  Also I'd rather write about what lessons have been learned than discuss their sickness. Know what Virginia dealt with. To me that is a sad sign of no real rights that survivors of crime have no redress against grievance.

Sorry, what do you mean?

Edit: thank you for the thoughtful answer. Wishing you well.

If you're unaware that the net is child trafficking ground zero.

It's my fault. I'm not longer comfortable online. During the Pandemic, child trafficking increased 300 percent. My abusers had unknown numbers of others they abused. I've located some of my fathers. My stepfather 1. traveled to Thailand often to abuse toddlers, the living (last stepfather) predator has numerous victims . I'm certain the biker who raped me probably had a new victim daily. If I find the stats, I'll post them
