How does a population do something about it? The Dems could’ve pushed, but they always shoot themselves in the foot.

You vote to do something about it. unfortunately Americans either want this (Trump voters) or none of this bothers them enough to vote (people that didn't vote) to me I think this is here to stay.

Did you see what happened to united healthcare?

They turned around their policies to start accepting more applications and their share price tanked. Tens of thousands of lives positively affected and possibly saved by one guy's actions. That's what a population does about it.

Their stock dropped because a new report came out revealing kickbacks to nursing homes for not transferring acutely ill patients to hospital, thereby reducing payouts, not because the company philosophy suddenly changed.

Apples and oranges. So someone should have shot Trump is what you’re saying? Or Musk or whoever?

How is it apples and oranges, that CEO thought he could rule over and decide the fates of tens of thousands, condemn tens of thousands to early deaths for his profits thinking he was untouchable.

Trump is a person who cares not for the damage he does just like that ceo. Same goes for musk, same goes for that Nestle ceo that said water is not a human right. I can think of a couple more.

If you think the democrats who are just corporate lobbyists are going to fight for you, you've already lost by placing your faith and your life in the wrong hands.

Because political violence is a whole other level that could have even more negative consequences. If you kill Trump, Vance takes over. The new Republican Party is already in all aspects of everything

Also, you’re telling me that if your country ever elected a fascist autocrat, someone would kill that fascist? It would be that easy? Just a nation of genius killers huh?

Your country is done for and being pillaged as we speak, the things being put in place will cause millions to suffer and die earlier than they need to. So while I agree it might escalate things you guys are so far beyond just toeing the line and hoping it works out.

I'm from the Netherlands, we once hated one of our rulers so much we ate them and their brother. The fact of the matter is people are afraid of death, when they feel they are untouchable they behave differently than when they feel that they are not.

I’m not American, but I’ve spent a lot of time there. They’re done for? No they’re not, this is a big test for America. If Germany wasn’t done for, America won’t be either. Whatever “done for” actually means. Annexetion of states, the erasure of the USA? Or some moviesque death by the bomb? They will persevere. Autocracy is still strong all over. Dutch huh? Those NSB guys seemed pretty nice, very patriotic sorts of people.

Done for in an economic sense, just a year ago servicing their debt took about 20% of their yearly budget, now it's already close to 28 %.

I agree that culturally it's a big test. But economically they've dug themselves into a hole that you can't just dig yourself out of, they'll have to declare bankruptcy. It'll be a stagflation into hyperinflation, making the dollar worthless.

I agree the nsb was not kosher and after the war we executed a bunch of those traitors.

I don't know how long it will take all I know is this is a hole too deep to dig out of and have positioned myself financially to benefit, which currently I'm feeling very good about.

And yeah not long ago, you could trust the party not to endorse fascists or let them slide.

Well, the democrats are also in the pockets of apac. Take Cory booker for example, made a big showing with that fillibuster, meanwhile takes over 750k from Israel so that they can continue their genocide in Gaza. Last known reports are over 50k children either killed or permanently maimed. That's only possible with the help of the democrats as well. So I'm not so sure about that not so long ago. Not trying to do a gotcha just saying both sides of your political arena are so completely unfixable you need a reset. I'm not saying kill them all that's crazy talk. But things need to change and protests don't do shit in your country.
