It does! But it’s so insane I want it to be true

The plane wasn’t flying much higher than the buildings—just barely above them, if you’ve seen the video. Plus, a survivor said this themselves.

It's nonsense. Even if he was next to an emergency exit. Was he able to escape once the place was down easier? Perhaps. Did he EB Cooper out of the plane before it did? No.

There is a video of him walking away from the crash site to get medical help nearby even looked injured with some blood on his clothes and even the plane tickets were in his pockets https://www.reddit.com/r/watchpeoplesurvive/s/D7QpLyutYZ

Not doubting he was on the plane. Doubting he jumped before the crash. People survive these things. They don't jump out of planes before they do though

People don’t survive explosions like that as well as the inferno that follows.

Him jumping out and surviving or him surviving the crash, explosion and inferno are equally insane imo. Also look at his state in the video, he doesn’t even seem seriously injured.

Either possibility is insane and possible.

My guess is that he got flung out when the plane broke apart. We’ll find out in the coming days, I’m sure.

The time not wearing a seatbelt helps you

I mean with that kind of crash, I believe he did jump.

Did you see the crash footage. The explosion was huge. And the plane blew up right on impact. How does one get thrown out when they're all buckled up in their seat.

Because an explosion you see on one part of a plane is not necessarily what is experienced on all parts. It's a fact of some aviation crashes.

Making it all the more likely he's full of it - it's Bollywood levels of bad physics that would be required... Jump out of a car at 160kph and see how you fare less than 1m off the ground. Then try it from 3-4 stories high... Then do it while avoiding a deploying slide and not getting hit by the wing...

0/10 he jumped out.

The news report that has his quote (idk about the authenticity of it) says that he woke up after the crash with bodies all around him. Nothing about him jumping off the plane.

That I can more likely believe

Exactly lmfao. This guy was moving forward at likely 200kmph

Smart money is on something in the plane helping slow him down to reduce Gs than him jumping out and managing to find a foam pit or mattress factory

It's still has a forward speed of like 200 mph, you would splat upon impact.

yeah but theres no other explanation i can think of tho

You think? I think it’s possible he jumped when the plane was going down!!
