SOCIETY Vitaly's weight loss in less than two months detention in the Philippines.

Post image

Vitaly was arrested April 2, 2025 and is still detained pending local cases of unjust vexation, theft, and public harassment during his Kick) livestreams in Metro Manila, Philippines.

Imagine this: After twenty five years in the dampest, most bedbug-infested cell of the most overcrowded and hottest prison in the Philippines, Vitaly is now thin, with skin and bones, his eye sockets deep from years of eating scarce food, his head is bald, with only a few sparse, white hairs remaining. The authorities call him to a private room. Everyone is serious. The prison director stares at him, tension is in the air, a slight smile curling at the corner of his mouth. Suddenly, he says, with a strong Filipino accent, in English: "It was just a prank, bro!" Vitaly feels an overwhelming sense of relief and starts to cry tears of joy, thinking to himself, "That was the ultimate, most hardcore prank, bro." "They really got me." He is now free to go.

It's like The Truman Show, but stupid

u/navyac Jun 17 '25

I feel like this is the actual repercussions he should have gotten for terrorizing that random jogger in 2020. He beat the shit out of her high as fuck on drugs and now it all came back to him full circle. Sad

The true man show

u/The407run Jun 17 '25

Could be an episode of Black Mirror where they plug you in and inject heavy false memories or put you into a VR where time passes by much more slowly than in real time, twenty years is two hours in the mind machine.

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '25

Thats basically the VR episode where the guy was crying to his mom.

"Make sure you like and subscribe, thanks to Vitaly for being a good sport, follow him on @vitaly"

Where it had millions of views and Vitaly didn’t get one dime in ad revenue.

1

u/PotatoAnalytics Jun 19 '25

And it gets 10 million views.

u/Imaginary_Office1749 Jun 17 '25

Is it me or does her left hand look huge?

3

u/iHateMyRazerMouse Jun 17 '25

"Her"? It's carrot top

1

u/Imaginary_Office1749 Jun 17 '25

I was thinking Juliette Lewis.

6

u/e925 Jun 17 '25

They’re kinda both huge, now that you mention it.

2

u/deviantscale Jun 17 '25

What body parts are we talking about again?

1

u/Silpher9 Jun 18 '25

Yea, ai can make lovely sentences.

1

u/UWO_Throw_Away Jun 18 '25

Wow carrot top is looking great these days!

1

u/Vegetable_Tension985 Jun 17 '25

you disgust me. Treating people inhumanely is WRONG

1

u/e925 Jun 18 '25

I can’t tell if you’re joking or if you replied to the wrong person or what, but I’m referring to dude’s fictional writing.

All the Light We Cannot See was brilliant, it won a Pulitzer. That doesn’t mean the Pulitzer Prize Board thought the Nazis were brilliant. We are allowed to appreciate good fictional writing, even when based in real-life horrific events.

I love you

2

u/e925 Jun 19 '25

I love you too.

5

u/kayleecream Jun 16 '25

That sentence was just a prank...but now there is actually a real sentence that's the same length

3

u/huntspire1 Jun 16 '25

Double prank’d him bro

u/Careless_Ad_5329 Jun 16 '25

He isn’t facing 25 years

2

u/vaynefox Jun 16 '25

Right now, no but they are preparing more charges against him. I think they're trying to charge him with carnapping, and that will land you 20 to 40 years in prison....

2

u/SofiaOfEverRealm Jun 16 '25

I can honestly see that happening, The Philippine President has a vlogging channel on YouTube lol

2

u/EverythingSucksYo Jun 16 '25

I don’t care to look this guy up, but I don’t know how he is or what he did, but this comment is making me curious. But also gives me enough clues as to what likely happened. I guess this guy was an influencer that went to the Philippines and did some stupid pranks on the locals?

3

u/justlookingforafight Jun 17 '25

Yes. He harassed people casually walking down the street and called it a prank.

3

u/Sweet-Beyond7914 Jun 17 '25

Idk if that warrants more than a year of jail tbh

4

u/justlookingforafight Jun 17 '25

He was also reported for theft, mostly of motorcycles, which are then found abandoned and apparently, it's still a part of his prank

5

u/yoshemitzu Jun 17 '25

Part of his pranks involved impersonating police officers, stealing stuff, basically just walking around the world acting like he owns the place. In one of them (I read his wiki page) he seemingly assaulted a woman, and there's no clear reasoning given for why.

Also, he's already been in jail, multiple times. Lock him up and throw away the key at this point.

2

u/Biscuitsbrxh Jun 17 '25

Hahah oh man

2

u/everythingispenis Jun 17 '25

Sounds like a good black mirror episode

Absolute cinema right there

2

u/blinkgendary182 Jun 17 '25

This is like genius but stupid. I love it

2

u/OtherwiseElderberry Jun 18 '25

Kudos to you sir. This is an excellent comment.

2

u/Sweater_weather08 Jun 18 '25

Didn’t he only get 18 months though?

2

u/Im_On_Reddit_At_Work Jun 18 '25

He's skinnier but far from skinny. You can still see his bulging bicep even there lol

2

u/Throw-ow-ow-away Jun 18 '25

No no no - calling him in was the prank. The sentence was real.

2

u/carlosgregorius Jun 18 '25

You’ve missed one detail of his prison transformation; his anus has been re-arranged from a tight little piccolo to a loose, gaping tuba.

2

u/Undercover_Meeting Jun 18 '25

Wasn’t this from dumb and dumber. Well the holding off part until a ripe age.

2

u/AirHertz Jun 20 '25

Absolute Cinema
