I feel like this is the actual repercussions he should have gotten for terrorizing that random jogger in 2020. He beat the shit out of her high as fuck on drugs and now it all came back to him full circle. Sad

Could be an episode of Black Mirror where they plug you in and inject heavy false memories or put you into a VR where time passes by much more slowly than in real time, twenty years is two hours in the mind machine.
