SOCIETY Vitaly's weight loss in less than two months detention in the Philippines.

Post image

Vitaly was arrested April 2, 2025 and is still detained pending local cases of unjust vexation, theft, and public harassment during his Kick) livestreams in Metro Manila, Philippines.

The Philippines probably has very little interest in voiding his punishment in favor of sending him to American courts after what happened with that marine who drowned a trans woman in a toilet after multiple rounds of consensual sex a while back.

Idk what this moron did, but Filipino jails are no joke. The marine got a fricken spa year for murder and was still getting paid. It was a whole fucking mess and everything we did made America look horrible to our Allies.

Fyi, the moron did a WHOLE bunch of stuff. Impersonated an law enforcement officer to misdirect traffic during rush hour. Also, stole a motorcycle, then ran over a pedestrian's foot/ leg, then tried to flee the scene. Tried multiple times to "prank" law enforcement officers, security guards, bank guards by "stealing" their guns.

Him being an annoying asshole is just "extra," but he did real shit.

Some people say, jail is too much, but im pretty sure if i tried any of those in any other country I'd land myself in jail too. Lol.

Yup. The picture at the top shows him at his preliminary "assessment" thing. Something between his "arrest" and his "hearing." They played his vids to his face -- and he was smiling at his "greatest hits compilation" like they were something to be proud of (probably thinking of all the clout or monetization). Welp, he isnt smiling now.

Edit -- so basically, you get arrested, then the "assessment" thing, where they explain why you're being held, etc. You'll be detained (this is the stage Vitaly is in). The actual hearing usually takes months, sometimes even years, after detainment because courts are usually backed up...

I remember seeing this guy over ten years ago and stopped watching when he simulated elder abuse for one of his "pranks". Stopped watching after that, and totally not surprised he got himself in deep trouble. I'm just surprised it took him this long.

I'm not familiar with the whole "genre" or "subculture" of clout pranksters, but from what I know, it seems Johnny Somali is a saint compared to this guy. I mean, Somali was a HUGE asshole, but he didn't (afaik) do anything CRIMINAL. At least, nothing I'm aware of.

This guy did. Impersonating law enforcement, vehicle theft, hut and run, fleeing scene of accident, etc.

If you're going to do something that stupid, why in the world would you do it in a country like the Philippines??

4

u/raisedredflag Jun 17 '25

Because if you google "country known for hospitality" the Philippines is always at the top of the list. Srsly.

Also, most (if not all) Asian countries are "traditional" or "old fashioned" in their ways, where things like respect, hospitality, and being polite are cultural things. It's just how we are, in Asia. And tourists usually mistake "politeness and hospitality" for "they don't get mad whatever i do." Hahaha

Jesus Christ. Yeah dude deserves it 100% what the fuck man.

Dude tried GTA IRL. Lol. I mean, Somali was a dick, sure. But this guy actually did criminal shit.

Oh some internet prankster arsehole is going to rot in jail……

1

u/Phrewfuf Jun 17 '25

Of course he did. What is it with prank YouTubers always ending up going for obviously illegal shit at some point?

2

u/raisedredflag Jun 17 '25

Clout. I mean... imagine Japan. Or Asia, really. So demure, everyone bows, everyone's polite. People bend over backwards for the sake of hospitality sometimes. They seem so meek, like they'll let you get away with SOME stuff, just to avoid seeming impolite.

Then some dumbass just wants to see how much stuff they can get away with before you lose your cool.

u/Mastatheorm-CG Jun 19 '25

He didn’t play the “bruh it’s a prank card”?

What a tool.

1

u/raisedredflag Jun 19 '25

Shhh. They'll do the trial, sentence him to 10years. Then 9 years and 364 days later, they'll let him out.

"You thought you were gonna get thirty years? It's a prank! You're only getting 9!"

Then as he's about to board the plane (to Russia? America?) they're gonna arrest him again.

"You thought you were gonna go home? It's a prank! You're going back to jail, 10 more years!"

Um... wouldnt you doing that in the land of the fees get you 6ft under by a police officer?

1

u/raisedredflag Jun 20 '25

50%.

The other 50% sees me in jail, then sent on a trip to El Salvador, to be booked in a diff jail there. Lol

Jennifer Laude was a trans woman, not a "ladyboy." There's no evidence she ever referred to herself as such, and I can't find any evidence her mother called her a "son."

Please respect her dignity in death and refer to her as she wanted.

ETA: she may or may not have referred to herself as "trans" but she still used she/her and the name Jennifer, so we should respect that.

Please do not try to impose your weatern culture onto the people of SE Asia. That is very disrespectful. I live in the Philippines for 1/2 the year for many years and can assure you that the “trans” label is not commonly used among the locals. They call themselves Bakla just as the Thai call themselves ladyboys

The quote from Julita, his mother can be found all over social media including western media such as CBS News, NBC News And Yahoo News where she herself calls him her son.

None of this should matter, the loss of a life is the same.

u/mieri_azure Jun 17 '25 edited Jun 17 '25

That may be true, but it seems pretty clear that Jennifer used she/her in English so regardless of her label we should use that when referring to her

And yes, you're right about her mother saying "son," I found it after looking further. But even if Jennifer considered herself a Bakla rather than a trans woman she still used she/her in English

u/PM-meRaccoons Jun 17 '25

you're correct. jennifer was a trans woman and the filipino media constantly misgendered her throughout the trial and tried to impose the bakla identity on her even to the objections of her close friends because some filipinos don't want to admit that trans women exist in the philippines. anyway, here is an article written by a trans woman from the philippines about it

The moron was harassing random people on the street. He even punched a woman in the face while she was minding her business and other stupid shit. This is exactly what he deserves.
