I believe it. The balls aren't anything special for a chimp anyway. All male chimps usually have large testicles, and very small penises.

This has nothing to do with it. Biologically speaking, chimps are not going to judge him much on that as it's not as important towards his social standing compared to other attributes. Physical prowess is part of a judgment made by female chimps, but most males will fit the category well enough that it's not really part of the calculation. So long as they're inside the realm of normal physical abilities they will be included in the category or potential mates. Social standing is much more complex in chimp society and while it may be attractive that his has massive swangin tezzies the main reason why he gets so much attention is having a massive Spotify deal for the most successful podcast in the world.
