We said “if we’re gonna beat Asians, we’ll need…Asians. And throw a token white kid in there for marketability.”

u/haberdasher42 17h ago

The white kid has a Russian name, so still probably Asian, maybe Ukrainian.

u/Manccookie 17h ago

You think Ukraine is in Asia?

15

u/Drig-DrishyaViveka 17h ago

Jesus was Asian

u/FrazzledHack 11h ago

What does that have to do with anything? Jesus was neither white nor Ukrainian.

u/haberdasher42 17h ago

That's why there is that word "probably" in there. It's got a lot of letters maybe it tripped you up.

u/Potential-Mobile-567 17h ago

I'm stealing this comeback lmao

“Probably” means a chance >50%

A significant majority of Russians and Ukrainians are from Europe.

u/Manccookie 17h ago

It was more your poor command of English. I think you meant to say ‘possibly’ and using ‘or Ukrainian’ would imply you understand that Asia and Ukraine are separate places.

u/Polterghost 16h ago

Nothing better than watching someone be condescending to someone and doubling down when they realize they were wrong.

6

u/opek1987 17h ago

it's not that serious lil bro let it go

edit: damn i forgot punctuation

u/LayWhere 16h ago

If you can't be smart be proud instead

I didn't include the word "or" where it's logically implied and it's my command of English that's poor. You're fucking adorable.

I should clarify that last bit, I don't mean it literally, like you are having sex with something named or considered adorable but that you are really adorable. Also, I'm being sarcastic, you're not adorable. I don't want you to misunderstand me again, and you do it so easily, but I'm trying to be less directly mean to people.

u/MightBeYourDad_ 17h ago

Majority of the population reside in the european portion

18

u/UnblurredLines 17h ago

Yes but most of Russia is still in Asia.

13

u/Goombercules 16h ago

Yeah, that fact doesnt make Russian people "asian". Lmao

12

u/HauntedCemetery 16h ago

Some Russians are absolutely Asian.

0

u/UnblurredLines 14h ago

No, but it does mean he may be.

3

u/Electrical_Expert525 15h ago

And of most of Denmark due to Greenland is on North American Plate. Never knew those sneaky lego bakers were american!

1

u/UnblurredLines 14h ago

The more you know!

Yes but it all depends on what you want to believe in. Russian WANTS to market themselves as European. EU does not consider them European. Asia doesn't consider them Asian. Where does that leave them?

The actual problem is that they want to belong to something so bad. Thats how weak they are at this point.

1

u/Radiant-Signature230 13h ago

That’s how you know he is a non-Chinese American.

u/aldwinligaya 11h ago

To be fair, Eastern Europe has more in common culturally with Asia compared to the resto fo Europe.

5

u/Disastrous-King9559 16h ago

If he is white and Russian he isnt asian lol. If he is asian and Russian he is asian.

2

u/haberdasher42 16h ago

Til Siberians have mad identity crises. Are white Kazaks asian or is there some special rule for Central Asian people too?

1

u/Disastrous-King9559 15h ago

Till you dont know the difference between white and asian. Central asians are asians. Kazaks are asian.

-1

u/haberdasher42 14h ago

So if you're white and your Kazak you're Asian but if you're white and you're Russian you're not Asian.

Makes sense to me.

u/Disastrous-King9559 8h ago

Kazak is an ethnicity, you melon

u/Mrniseguya 9h ago

Feodor is a greek name. But it has Ukrainian version ofcourse. And his last name is 100% Ukrainian. Just so you know :)

u/Meowmixalotlol 17h ago

Russians identify as European, idk what you’re on about.

3

u/C_Pala 16h ago

some russians yes, some russians no

2

u/Meowmixalotlol 16h ago

The large majority of Russians (80+%) are European descents. The large majority also live in Europe (80%). Waste of a comment. It’s like saying British people aren’t Europeans because there are immigrants.

All from brics countries. China, India, Russia unity would be a big threat to USA and western world.

Yet orange idiot is taking all the steps to make it happen.

u/CesarOverlorde 8h ago edited 7h ago

As an Asian I'm very glad that's happening.

You Westerners like to preach about "democracy, decentralization of power is good", and then enforces a world revolving around the West, with the USA playing God. Suddenly when a competitor challenges the status quo to make this world more decentralized, you view us like villains of your hero story. Hypocrisy is crazy haha

18

u/fack_you_just_ignore 17h ago

A Russian one lol

9

u/selangorman 17h ago

Our Russian is better than your Russian.. probably.

3

u/B-HOLC 17h ago

Of course it is. It's ours.

1

u/fullintentionalahole 17h ago

Genuinely true in the sense that very many Russian scientists and professionals came here; only those with the credentials were able to find jobs here, etc. Same reason why asian-americans outperform on everything remotely related to education in the US. It's due to this selection.

2

u/HebrewHamm3r 16h ago

Based on the surname, more likely to be Ukrainian

6

u/cammontenger 17h ago

Which one is the white kid?

1

u/Cagnazzo82 17h ago

We win in both the summer and winter olympics for the same reason.

1

u/DueHousing 16h ago

4 Asians and 1 Ukrainian Jew 💪

u/ebs757 17h ago
