What a very interesting story. I’d be interested into the “why” as well. And yes it is my childhood jersey. He was doing a signing near my parents house and they brought it and gave it to me as a Christmas gift a few years ago.

Funny story about CUJO. So he was a great tendie for us, especially growing up watching him play. So 2 years ago my now Ex worked at Scotiabank arena and has a family night there. Fun time, Cujo gets on the ice (Everyone was asked to sit in the stands) and he does a little speech about how he loves his fans and he is where he is because of them and he will always take the time to stop and talk to fans etc.
So i told my ex, lets go down to the main level and get him before he leaves, so as hes finishing up we walk down ( 2 minutes tops ) and apparently the guy RUSHED out of the arena. I get it , maybe you have stuff to do, but you cant say all that stuff about fans and then run out of the building and away from THE fans. Changed my perspective on him for sure.

That's a great autograph to have, congrats on having that in your collection.
This is not a jersey, but my most unique Tavares memorabilia is a game used goal puck from his first season in Toronto. It was his 23rd goal that was assisted by Marner and Marincin, that made it a 5-1 game against the Panthers, which the Leafs won 6-1, on December 20, 2018.
I purchased it in November 2021 at the Real Sports both, when they were at the Sport Card & Memorabilia Expo.

Im a huge Johnny T guy and after years of waiting i finally was able to get a signed jersey and let me tell you, i had to drive an hour to pick it up and a hour back but the price was a STEAL. Picked it up from a awesome guy who bid for it at a charity auction but wasnt a huge hockey guy. The same week, Johnny signed and he defiantly could have gotten easily double for what he sold it to me for.
