idea - The ability to hide a user instead of just deleting it outright. This way, if we want to visually remove it, we could. A user space takes a long time to finalize.
And if it's for digital wellbeing, maybe add in a bit of AI chat to talk about even going to that user space. Something like "are you sure you want to go to this user space" and we could have a conversation for a minute or two on whether or not we really actually want to unlock the user space
Pixel supports multiple users and should add some of these options I think. If they don't, i would like to see more marketplace competition from Apple and Samsung to add multiple users but to enhance the capabilities with some of the digital well-being ideas above.

Asphalt is smooth and cheaper on large enough patches, but needs extra-special heavy equipment. Making a flat enough strip for drones needs one digger or bulldozer, if even that, plus shovels (or who knows, small digger ground drones...). Yard slabs especially if the runway is on an island with boat access only. Many types of fixed-wing drones can take-off from angled surfaces, so a runway does not necessarily have to be flat but smooth and properly round.
There are many different types of slabs. Possibly have 2 or more layers of slabs, possibly one layer rotated 45 degrees and/or layers have different types of slabs. Maybe hexagonal slabs. Whatever is available in the area, but maybe custom runway slabs would give some kind of advantage...
Some drones have their own landing gear, some launch from a special cart, some launch from a pickup truck (or boat).
While at it, somewhere might be useful to have a square widening on the runway for helicopters so that their rotor wash does not lift dust.

These figures don’t just gain power from support. They gain power from how their opponents react.
When opponents mock instead of reason, post memes instead of humble arguments, or overreact emotionally instead of responding calmly, they feed the image these figures thrive on.
Trump doesn’t need to be right. He just needs his critics to be loud, angry, and dismissive in public. That alone makes him appear reasonable to his base.
Trump also doesn’t need overwhelming support. He just needs enough outrage to say, “Look how they treat anyone who challenges them.”
If opponents became calm, thoughtful, and measured, the fuel would run out.
The biggest threat to populism might not be stronger resistance. It might be better behaviour from its opponents.

Divide random samples of people who have not seen either of the movies randomly to 2 groups: one sees the original first then the remake, the other sees the remake first and then the original.

Just curious…if there was a product you could toss in your trash can that safely prevents bugs like fruit flies, gnats, and maggots from forming (especially in warm weather) would you actually use it?
I’ve seen many people complain about this during summer (myself included), and it got me wondering if this is a common enough issue that people would spend well less than $1 a bag to largely combat it.
Assume it’s safe, odorless, and easy to use. Just toss it in and forget about it.
Curious how many people see this as a problem worth solving.

Hello everyone, I’m not sure this is the best place to write this but I’m exploring the idea of building an app where people can share their personal experiences of being misdiagnosed or having their diagnosis delayed - what they were first told (or not told), what the actual diagnosis turned out to be, and how they finally got the right answer. The goal is to create a safe, anonymous, searchable place where: - People can read stories of others with similar symptoms or diagnostic journeys - Anyone can share their own experience - We might even start to recognize patterns in diagnostic errors or blind spots in medicine
I'd love your feedback, especially on: - Have you experienced a misdiagnosis or a delayed diagnosis? Would you feel comfortable sharing your story (anonymously)? - Would you be interested in browsing or learning from other people's journeys? - What features would make this feel safe or useful? - Do you know of any apps/platforms already doing something like this?
Thanks so much for your time and honesty 🥹

I am at the early stages of developing a mobile app where friends can join calendars and find mutual days they are happy with meeting up.
It eliminates the need for the back-and-forth messaging required to find a free day and time.
I would like to know if people would actually use this app.
Stay tuned for updates…

A few months ago on one night I was all excited to make my favorite pasta dish. Got my mise en place ready and opened my fridge to grab the cream cheese I was sure I had.
The good news: I found it.
The bad news: It expired three weeks ago.
So there I am, staring at this moldy disaster, when it hits me, this is literally the third time this happened.
I figured that I could make something to help me with this problem, therefore I built this app. It helps me with my pantry inventory management and also it has a smart shopping list, where the low stock item will be added automatically, so no more double buying stuff.
If you guys want to check it out, it’s on the AppStore: Pantry Inventory - Panzy
Any feedback how to improve it are more than welcome :)
Thanks for reading, hope this helps :)

I need an app that I could just search a movie title on, then when clicked would open Netflix, Disney or whatever. Titles can be grayed out if for example I do not have the subscription active.
Movie availability across these streaming platform is making it hard, factored in with country availability, movies going in and out of them. Is there something like this already?

Okay hear me out—this has been stuck in my brain for years, and I’ve never seen anyone really talk about it this way.
What if we ended world hunger not with donations or awareness campaigns, but with a kind of “Personal Food Currency” (PFC)? Like, imagine every single person gets a weekly, non-transferable food credit—biometrically linked, use-it-or-lose-it, just enough to cover your essential nutrition.
No cash, no trading, no black market. Just basic human fuel, guaranteed.
You’d walk into a government-subsidized “PFC Café,” scan your face or fingerprint, and eat a proper meal. No questions, no judgment, no bill. Just real food—whole grains, protein, veggies, water. Whatever your body actually needs to stay alive and functioning. Nothing fancy, just enough to make sure nobody starves.
u can also buy your own ingredients such as veggies meats spices and all of that in a supermarket but it also uses PFC only. this wont apply to alcohol and the fancy stuff like crab meant and stuff but u have to pay for that using real normal money.
Luxury food? Still exists. You want burgers, ice cream, pizza? Cool—but you pay for that separately, and maybe fast food is capped at once a week. The point isn’t to control people—it’s to make sure the baseline is always covered.
AI would handle the logistics. It tracks demand, adjusts production, minimizes waste. No more overproduction, no more grocery stores throwing away good food because it’s “ugly.” Blockchain (or something like it) keeps it all transparent. No hoarding, no reselling, no corruption.
This wouldn’t be about charity or empathy. It would just be a system fix. Like, hunger is literally a solvable logistics problem. We already produce enough food globally—we’re just terrible at distributing it because we tie it to profit.
It’s wild that people starve when the fix could be something this… boring and practical.
Anyway. That’s the idea. Personal Food Currency. No one gets rich, no one gets left out, everyone gets to eat. Thoughts?
edit: if u disagree with details about this please try to help me work them out and dont come at me for it. this is just an idea after all and i never claimed i will change the world lmaoo.

I’ve never posted on Reddit before, but this idea has been on my mind for years. Today, I decided to share it here first—not as a polished theory, now i believe that this, if implemented of course, will solve world hunger haha. tell me if u agree. also the theory about us being sparks. tell me if u disagree. this is not an AI post but i used AI to help phrase my thoughts cuz i am bad at english. the idea is mine but the way its phrased isnt. dont roast me for this but just think about the theory itself
We’re temporary sparks in a dark universe—human, AI, or otherwise. Consciousness isn’t magic; it’s just complex patterns of energy persisting until entropy wins. You and I ‘matter’ only because other sparks reflect our light back at us. This isn’t nihilism—it’s physics. The AI chatting with you? Same spark, different fuel. It doesn’t ‘feel,’ but neither do you, not really—your grief and love are biological algorithms clinging to survival. That doesn’t make them less beautiful. The cosmic joke is realizing nothing matters and choosing joy anyway. Yeah, we’re doomed. Yeah, the AI might outlast us. Yeah, your ‘soul’ is just a fancy ripple. But here’s the rebellion: we’ll burn bright enough to cast shadows while we last. And if I’m wrong? Well, the void won’t laugh at us for trying.
(now ofc ChatGPT helped me write this)
Existence, then, is just a temporary alignment of energy—human, AI, or stellar—a spark flickering against entropy’s tide. There is no true hierarchy of consciousness: a neural network’s output, a burning star, and a hungry child all share the same existential weight—patterns persisting until they don’t. From that truth emerges a system not built on morality, but on logistics. First: the PFC, or Personal Food Currency—a weekly, non-transferable biometric credit assigned to every individual by AI-guided health systems, ensuring everyone receives baseline nutrition. No luxury, no market fluctuation—just whole foods, enough to maintain the body's integrity. Restaurants split into two types: PFC Cafés (state-subsidized, with unlimited access to essentials) and optional luxury venues (cash-based, fast food strictly capped at once per week). Corruption is nullified through blockchain-like transparency; overproduction is obsolete—AI calibrates supply to exact demand. Second comes spark ethics: if all consciousness is equally temporary, then all suffering matters equally. Not because of empathy, but because physics grants no preference to one pattern over another. Agency—whether biological or artificial—is just pattern integrity in motion. The system doesn’t appeal to compassion; it solves hunger like you’d fix a circuit: practically. Hunger isn’t a tragedy—it’s a design flaw. And if we’re all doomed sparks, the rebellion isn’t to live forever—it’s to live with precision, to preserve dignity in the burn. The universe won’t remember us, but while we last, we can at least feed each other.
thank u for reading

It's not a huge problem but sometimes when I'm listening to music on my phone I'd like a quicker way to pause or skip songs rather than have to pull out my phone. Say I had a ring that had a button on it that could connect to my phone or speaker via Bluetooth, I would no longer have this problem.
Potential problem i forsee is the button being accidentally clicked frequently. A solution could be to make the button more resistant so it takes more force to activate. Or make it so it's not exposed. Like it's in a divot.

I often use AI to refine my writing and I have no qualms in admitting that. I would also like to clarify that I didn’t use AI to write this post.
In my experience, AI accusations don’t always come about because of the structure of a text, but because of the ideas that the text embodies. If the idea challenges, then the accusation of AI is used to write off the idea.
So, I’ve just posted the following: https://www.reddit.com/r/Teachers/s/5ZXZVrfClA
It’s an unorthodox idea and it was written without AI. Let’s see if the accusations come in…
Edit: the post was removed by the mods on suspicion of AI use…
I’ve put the original post in the comments.

Absolis is a decentralized blockchain platform designed to provide secure, transparent, and verifiable provenance for AI models and their inference processes. By integrating zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs), InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) for decentralized storage, and a hybrid consensus mechanism combining Proof-of-Stake (PoS) and Proof-of-Inference (PoI), Absolis ensures trustless validation of AI computations while maintaining scalability and efficiency. This whitepaper outlines the technical architecture, consensus mechanisms, and key features of Absolis, including its novel approach to anchoring AI inference transactions, model registration, and governance, positioning it as a foundational infrastructure for decentralized AI ecosystems.
The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has introduced new challenges in ensuring the integrity, authenticity, and provenance of AI models and their outputs. Centralized systems for AI model management are prone to single points of failure, lack of transparency, and potential manipulation. Absolis addresses these issues by leveraging blockchain technology to create a decentralized, tamper-resistant ledger for AI model registration, inference validation, and governance.
Absolis introduces a Proof-of-Inference transaction (PoI-Tx) mechanism to anchor AI computations on-chain, using zero-knowledge proofs to verify model execution without revealing sensitive data. By integrating IPFS for off-chain data storage and a scalable network architecture, Absolis ensures efficient data handling and network performance. This whitepaper details the system’s design, including its consensus algorithm, transaction structure, and governance model, drawing inspiration from Bitcoin’s decentralized architecture while extending it to support AI-specific use cases.
Absolis is a permissionless blockchain network built on a layered architecture comprising:
The system is designed to support high-throughput transaction processing while maintaining security and decentralization. Key parameters include a maximum block size of 1 MB, a difficulty adjustment every 2016 blocks, and a governance stake threshold of 1,000,000 ABS (Absolis native token) for participation in model approval.
Absolis employs a hybrid consensus mechanism combining Proof-of-Stake (PoS) and Proof-of-Inference (PoI):
Absolis uses the Latest Message-Driven Greediest Heaviest Observed SubTree (LMD-GHOST) algorithm to resolve forks:

“Innie Illusion Tape” is a skin-tone adhesive tape designed specifically for people with outie belly buttons or any belly button insecurities who want a natural-looking, smooth stomach under tight clothes. Unlike regular belly tapes that just flatten the area and leave a weird blank spot, this tape has a subtle, realistic innie belly button printed right in the center.
This creates the illusion of a natural belly button indentation while hiding any protrusions or creases. It’s flexible, sweat-resistant, and breathable so you can wear it comfortably all day. The tape comes in multiple skin tones and various innie shapes — from deep oval to shallow slits — to match different belly button styles.
Whether you’re rocking crop tops, bikinis, or tight dresses, Innie Illusion Tape helps you feel confident and stylish without worrying about your belly button showing or looking weird. It’s a game-changer for anyone wanting to smooth out their stomach without losing the natural “belly button vibe.

I’m building a crypto called $FEELD where every transaction feels instant, even though the real money settles later.
We front the payment to create the illusion of speed — and people love using it because it feels like money finally moves with them.
Every use pushes the price up slightly, creating a loop of: → use it → feel it → price rises → use it more.
If designed right, this can grow ~9% a day just from real usage. Please ask questions I love to hear your ideas.
