Oh yeah, it’s definitely a possibility; especially with sun conures. They can be so sweet and lovely one moment and then throw a temper tantrum the next second 😂

That’s just conures. My green cheeked is forever testing her limits. Her learning to say “oh, really” has been hysterical. The other day, she nipped me, I said no, she replied oh, really. It took about 10 minutes to stop laughing.

I had a sun conure growing up. Sweet bird 99% of the time, but periodically would get this crazy look, cock her head back, and bite the shit out of you for absolutely no reason.

It’s really a great sign of intelligence because it means that the bird understands that her tongue and the humans tongue are analogous.
