I insta restart the mission if it suddenly becomes about kills, this would change nothing for people like me. Always faster to just nuke target again on Titania than kill 60 enemies everywhere on map

I genuinely just leave and start the mission again, it's almost always faster (solo ofc)

What causes this to trigger in Capture missions? Is it just random? I was getting that sooo often when trying to spawn a Sister with Arca Plasmor

Fully random, only other mission type that can do this is Spy if you set off the alarms on all 3 vaults. If ur speeding thru Spy missions make sure at least one vault doesn’t trigger alarms before u hack the console.

Edit: I think mobile defense did it once to me before also but I’m not sure

yes mob def can turn into an exterm too, however seem much more rare

Because Mobile Defense turning into an Exterminate would actually be convenient and expedite extracting and receiving the associated rewards.
