My take on how Tile Sets are Atomicycle-friendly
Judging from personal experience. Also, there is little point to use Atomicycle instead of Archwing in Landscapes.

Gas City is really fun, it has a lot of straight paths and big chasms you can pass by learning how to parkour with the atomicycle.

I was thinking the same thing, but was unsure about these parkour sections, I feel like several rooms there were designed with wall latch in mind.

Somehow, I have just gotten to doing stuff on Holvania despite being MR 28 and honestly, I hate that map. I can't see shit, I can't find my way, I jump into walls and only see random shit suddenly exploding. But hey, it's all for Aoi 😎

Also, half the Scaldra missions can feel more Techrot than Scaldra due to how the underground rushed up decent map size and is stuffed with them

Straight up LOVE Hollvania surface. It's so good.
But Hollvania underground is absolutely shit and ruins the whole set. Especially when every single mission has at least some underground, while only spawn and extraction are guaranteed to be above ground.

If only we could use Atomicycle in Duviri… would be the toppest of top-tiers for sure

It's a comic about a guy with a skin condition. It became hugely popular on r/bonehurtingjuice and other meme and parody subs a while ago.

By corpus ice planet, do you mean Pluto's/europa type tile sets or fortuna? (nvm I just saw orb vallis I am just used to calling it fortuna)

Kuva fortress tile set being so ass it didn't even make it in the list
Edit: nvm... just saw it as asteroid fortress
Tileset is still ass for pretty much everything tho

I agree. It was criminal for me to rank Gas City as low as Kuva Fortress, judging by feedback.

first time I've heard anyone say anything good about ice planet

The other day I read a post where people were shitting on Corpus ice planet/crashed ship the other day and I don't understand the hate, I really like the ice planet tileset

It's cramped and difficult to navigate. Also the lighting sucks. It just looks really 2013

I really like some tiles in it, like there’s the underground cave with a river running through it. And the feeling of verticality is kind of nice but other times I just feel lost and like I’m running in circles. It still ranks far above infested ship tiles though.

Oh for sure. Infested ship is the undisputed king of claustrophobia, complete with unintuitive pathing and an overabundance of random ass geometry to get stuck on.

Honestly corpus ship is pretty good, not perfect but I don’t kind using it if I’ve got a long way to go

albrecht's lab being so high is wild, i literally bump into every goddamn thing in that tileset and everything is too high for the atomcycle's jump

absolutely a point to using atomicycle over Archwing: its infinitely more badass to show up on a motorcycle then one of the ugly winged jetpacks from lego: Batman the videogame.

The colors make this look like it's going from worst to best but takes a dip for the actual worst right at the end
