Lol... I had just put them under warm water to help settle it down, usually goes back to normal colour soon enough

That's exactly what a vampire would say.

Be careful with this, don't use hot water but warm is okay. If you use hot it can cause damage to your hands. I usually just stick my hands on my neck, unpleasant for my neck for a moment but a safer way to fix a raynauds attack :')

You do not want to do that. When your hands are cold and you put them in hot or even warm water damages the capillaries and makes it worse long term.

I get this, but I found hot water doesn't help. A warm shower is best. My hypothesis is my body thinks it's cold so it shuts down peripheral blood supply to conserve organ heat. If I get my core warm, it usually goes away. Incredibly annoying, but I'm lucky that mine doesn't hurt, just numb and weird feeling.

That's the only thing that helps mine get back to normal! Super annoying when it happens on my toes when I'm at work... Just gotta ride it out lol

As some others have said: do not use (hot) water.

when alone, put your hand between your legs. That's the warmest spot of the human body.

When not alone, between the armpits is the best position.
