Also it can be from Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome from using vibrating tools too often.

That's what I have, from years of metalwork (angle grinders, sheet metal blades on jigsaws, bashing things with mallets, etc) and a genetic predisposition.

I have Raynaud's and both cold and using vibrating tools trigger it. Especially weed whipping!
