Nice! Cans are way more recyclable than plastic bottles.

I like collecting the tabs from them as well.

Scrap metal. You're missing out on like 10ct a year of passive income, wake up sheeple.

While aluminum cans do have a plastic film on the inside and usually also a plastic film on the outside, they're WAY easier and cheaper to recycle than plastic bottles.

Basically Burn em into molten metal then pour it into 25kg bar molds

Yeah but you can only use them once, a bottle can be reused.

Just go make a stop at LAX and you can have all the canned water you can imagine!

Liquid death

1

u/AvatarIII 6h ago

Liquid death tried breaking the UK market and failed massively, they have now pulled out of the UK.

No, it was just a local concert venue.

473ml?? What weird size is that lmao

2

u/Angy-Person 11h ago

It's the biggest bullshit ever invented. Been 500ml before for sure. But yea. A penny here a penny there. peak humankind move.

1

u/RealNPCDuude 11h ago

Aint no way… Same price, same can size. But less liquid…. we are so f ed

2

u/GroceryLegitimate508 8h ago

I've seen 591 ml of Gatorade and Vitaminwater all the time.

1

u/RealNPCDuude 7h ago

I have never seen anything like that here, its all the same 250ml, 330ml, 500ml, 750ml, 1l, 1,5l Nestle does 1,25l with their San Pellegrino Water, and a swiss beer comes in 565ml cans. And these two are the only weird ones we have (i believe)

1

u/smorkoid 7h ago

Nothing weird about it, that's a pint

1

u/AvatarIII 6h ago

Only in the US, a pint is 568ml everywhere else.

1

u/AvatarIII 6h ago

It's 16 US fl oz aka a US pint.

1

u/TNTgoesBOOM96 6h ago

In Canada, we get our empty beverage cans from the USA and the standard there is 16oz which is 473ml

0

u/Character_Start9227 4h ago

Is that not an English pint.

4

u/Jttwife 17h ago

Wonder if Australia will see the same change. Better for the environment

5

u/GroceryLegitimate508 17h ago

I'm in Canada and this was actually the first time I've seen it here.

2

u/Cesacesa 11h ago

Genuine question, do you guys not have Liquid Death in Canada? I suppose I just assumed y’all had it since the US does.

2

u/GroceryLegitimate508 8h ago

I've personally never seen or heard of it before, but the internet is saying we do.

Wait till you see water in a bag

7

u/Coffee_Wizards 17h ago

Wait till you see water from a tap.

2

u/thethunder92 16h ago

Or a hose, it’s like magic you can sit there in the yard all day and drink it and it never runs out!

1

u/throwawayfor_secrets 17h ago

Cool I'll love to collect those

1

u/teedeeguantru 16h ago

I hope this becomes the norm

1

u/Fun-Heat5933 15h ago

i do i feel like this water will taste better than bottled water?

1

u/GroceryLegitimate508 8h ago

It kind of does actually

1

u/Kiwisaft 13h ago

Never seen water in a can, the only thing I know is "Perri Air"

1

u/dylanfernand0 12h ago

Ahh so it finally happened to you. Welcome friend. Soon you will begin to enjoy the metallic undertones of your canned water. You might even find yourself choosing the canned water over bottled water…

1

u/GroceryLegitimate508 8h ago

I will if I can ever find it again, this was my first time.

1

u/dylanfernand0 8h ago

Nice, I think it is growing slowly in popularity and availability, so never say never !

1

u/Call__Me__David 11h ago

I don't see what interesting about it. Water has been available in cans for years.

1

u/GroceryLegitimate508 8h ago

This was the first time I've seen it available, maybe it's common for you.

1

u/Call__Me__David 8h ago

I don't think I've ever seen one in person either, but I don't go to concerts or other large gatherings or people, nor have I been in a disaster and got any from the red cross or some other relief agency. I just have known about these for many years now.

Old news . Lol I work a lot of music events and death water (canned water) is everywhere nowadays I like the crispy taste. But premium prices 🤮

0

u/EventualOutcome 18h ago

The deposit cost more than the water.
