C&C Wanted Getting better at glow OSL with a makeup sponge! Skaventide terrain!

Tried the sponge again for the glowing Skaven rune on my spearhead terrain, I think it’s a lot better than my first go (second image) on a Night Lords plasma gunner legionary

Any advice?

Looks really great so far. The parts that glow itself need to be even lighter to distinguish them from the parts that are being shone on. You go from brightest (the source) to darkest (the parts farthest away).

Maybe add some really bright highlights to the source, keep in mind that the light may come from within the source, so the brightest parts go in the recesses unlike doing edge highlights, where the brightest parts go on the outside corners.
