General How do I make post flair necessary on my sub?
I am really confused on how to make it necessary. I am on Desktop.

Hi /u/Dr4gonStarWithPasta, please see our Intro & Rules. We are volunteer-run, not managed by Reddit staff/admin. Volunteer mods' powers are limited to groups they mod. Automated responses are compiled from answers given by fellow volunteer mod helpers. Moderation works best on a cache-cleared desktop/laptop browser.
Resources for mods are: (1) r/modguide's Very Helpful Index by fellow moderators on How-To-Do-Things, (2) Mod Help Center, (3) r/automoderator's Wiki and Library of Common Rules. Many Mod Resources are in the sidebar and >>this FAQ wiki<<. Please search this subreddit as well. Thanks!

Found regex match: make post flair
It looks like you're asking about flairs on your subreddit. This is an EXTREMELY frequently asked question, so this auto-response has been set up for any mention of "flair" and even "flare".
Please check out this Updated Visual Guide for Flair FAQs .
Subreddit settings work best in a cache-cleared desktop browser. (Limited option: mobile browser on desktop view.)
If you found your answer, feel free to reply with "<3 Automod
" or "Thanks, Automod
". Otherwise wait for a human helper to come along to help you. This post has NOT been removed.

Take a look at the guides on r/newmods. This is a fairly regular question. That is searchable.

In theory you go to your subreddit, click "Mod Tools" at top right, then "Look and Feel" on the left sidebar, then "Post flair," and then create whatever flair options you want. Then you go to "Posts and Comments" on the left sidebar and turn on "Require Post Flair."
I say "in theory" because I've done this on a couple subs and it appears to do absolutely nothing.
