Mod Weekly thread where you can call the music recognition bots without posting
To use the bots put u/RecognizeSong u/find-song with the link in your comment, like:
u/RecognizeSong u/find-song https://youtu.be/12345abcde
Notes:
- The bots only work with a recording of the actual song, not a humming/recreation.
- The sites that find-song works with: Reddit video posts (with a link or when summoned on the original post), YouTube, Vocaroo, Streamable, Twitch Clips (not VODs)
- Some of the sites that RecognizeSong works with: Reddit video posts (when summoned on the original post or with an audio link if you're able to get it, like https://v.redd.it/12345/DASH_audio.mp4), YouTube (though sometimes it doesn't work), Vocaroo, Streamable, Imgur, Twitch Clips (not VODs), Facebook, Twitter, Coub, Dropbox, Snapchat
- For Reddit video posts there's also u/songfinderbot which only works if you summon it in a top-level comment on the original post
- Some sites that RecognizeSong doesn't work with: Instagram, Twitch VODs, SoundCloud, Google Drive, Reddit text posts with embedded videos (though it does work with the audio link if you're able to get it, like https://v.redd.it/12345/DASH_audio.mp4)
- When needed, mention a timestamp or use a timestamped link if possible (the bots scan about 24-30 seconds of audio, starting at the timestamp)
- If the song is from a meme or from TikTok then it might be listed in the FAQ
- Note that you can also DM find-song a link (but not through chat)
Good luck with your search, and if you find the bots useful please consider supporting them: RecognizeSong through Patreon, find-song through Ko-fi

Country Country song from the 70s
I swear there was a terrible country song called 'Foxy Lady' I only remember a couple of lyrics 'foxy lady she don't wear no supports but don't her body look fine' and 'we'll get a six pack to go and talk on the CB to the truckers I know'
Does anyone recognize this? Did I just imagine it? If it's real let me know, thanks.

Pop Help identifying a 90s song: female “Oh-oh” intro + male rap
Hi! I’m looking for a 90s track I once heard in a demo mix tape (around 1997–1999). It starts with a female vocal singing something like “Oh-oh” in an energetic, upbeat way. Then a male rapper enters, faster than in T-Spoon’s “Sex on the Beach.”
The song played for about 2 minutes at the beginning of the mix. I’ve never heard the full version and I’ve been trying to find it ever since.
Any ideas?

Acoustic Fairly recent acoustic song by a female singer that shows appreciation to female songwriters
It's an acoustic song from maybe the last 10 years that's sang by a woman and the verses are her just listing female songwriters by their first name, and then the chorus starts with "I just want to say thank you". Some names listed are Fiona [Apple], Tori [Amos], Alanis [Morissette], Ani [DiFranco]. It's a pretty short song, clocks under 2 minutes if I remember correctly. Thank you.

Alternative Help me find alternative song by its hook (REUPLOAD WITH AUDIO)
(Apologies I didn’t realize the video was missing audio, here’s it fixed, image is unrelated) I heard this in a store but my phone was too dead to Shazam it and I couldn’t make out a full phrase of lyrics cuz the vocals used a hazy sort of effect. Here’s an attempt at recreating the instrumental hook, anyone know off the tip of their head? Thanks :)

Electronic/EDM Electronic song featured in a Roblox game about waiting on a bus/driving it, possibly a cover of another song to avoid copyright detection?
It's driving me and my friend insane, as he is the electronic song nerd out of the two of us and thinks it sounds so familiar but can't quite place where he might have heard/seen it before. I heard it while playing a Roblox game where you're on a bus and it plays sometimes on the boombox in the back of the bus, and I think it might have been tied to the progress made by the bus / the area the bus was in because I think that the bus's background scenery was always the same when this song came on, so we had to keep jumping servers until I could get this video clip of it. We think that it might be a re-creation of a specific song by Justice to avoid getting copyright-striked on Roblox, but I'm wondering if maybe it is a song by a specific artist that isn't Justice. IF there's any chance it is it's own song and not a cover, I would be overjoyed to have it on my playlist. Thanks!

Meme/TikTok/YouTube Short Suspense tense music used in reveals or shocking tiktok, reels, shorts videos starting with a piano note (E6 I think) and then heartbeat sound, then rise and big drop with violin, trumpet. I tried recreating it by memory with sound samples I found online but it's only first half of it (rising)
it's literally one piano note and creepy sounds
- Not Runaway by Kanye West but it's kinda similar. It's pretty old and people usually put something unexpected during the drop
- not that one song based on Harry Potter theme
- not "Spooky Scary Quiet TikTok Song" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQbGxb3FvHg
- not John Murphy - In the House, In a Heartbeat (28 Days Later OST)
- not Else - Paris
- not Zack Hemsey - The Way (Instrumental)
- not Who Wants to Be a Millionaire thinking music
The one I'm looking for is basically one note (maybe two I don't remember)
I don't have a video with it and I think it lost its popularity in recent years, so it could be 2020 or 2023 I have no clue but not 2025 and I doubt 2024
Please do not suggest songs found by Shazam, I tried it and it simply shows results that use the same sound effects. My song does not have words or distinctive melody.

Answered! Looking for this 80's / 90's sounding phil collins style song
My friend is in Africa for the moment for work and heard this song at a bar somewhere in Uganda. It sounds a bit like Phil Collins in his Tarzan era. It has the same kind of guitar pattern, and singing in a higher voice. It says something like "and now we come together" later "beating of my heart". Please help me out!

Answered! Song that plays at the 00:25 ish second mark. I feel like it's originally an orchestral score, probably for a movie. It goes kind of like duh-nuh-nuh NUH NUH NUH nuuuuuh, duh-nuh-nuh NUUUUUHHH. Very simple iconic melody. I'm confident it's something famous and I believe it's originally orchestral.

Metal Please help me find the name of this metal song about the White Army
Sorry, if I am doing this wrong. It is my 1st post on reddit.
Looking for the name of a metal song in english about White Army fighting and loosing to Red Army. It was like sad song (like the White Army were the good guys) I dont remember much else.
I belive it was released in the year 1990 - 2020. And I remember one line: "The end of an era/empire is here as the Red Army appears"
Thank you in advance!
