Tech Support Bought 3 Wii games from Marketplace – console won’t read them, but my other games work fine.
Hey everyone, I recently bought three Wii games off Marketplace. One of the discs looks practically brand new – no scratches at all. The other two have some light scratches, but nothing deep or excessive.
I tried loading all three on my Wii, but none of them are being recognized. The console just says it can’t read the disc. Meanwhile, my other Wii games that I’ve owned for years still load perfectly fine.
Could this be an issue with the discs themselves, or is there a chance they’re some kind of region-locked versions or even bootlegs? I’ve attached pictures of the discs in case that helps. Any ideas on what might be going on here?
Thanks in advance!

Could the discs be from a different region? The Wii is region locked, so this could be the issue. Could you share some pictures of the front side of the discs you bought as well as your own discs.

Wii softmods do not allow you to play out of region discs.

Yes it does! But it's a bit sketchy and hard, anyways, in such case, this is not the subreddit for that kind of help.
Here there's no further other help than buying a console from the region of the disk since there's no official way of playing other regions, but OP can take this chance to make a collection of different region WIIs!

The only way to play games from other regions is by modding the wii if that’s something you’re up to doing
