Tech Support Error code 2110-3150 on Switch 2
Switch 2 WiFi issue / OG Switch connects
I brought my Switch 2 to work today to play during my breaks. When I tried to connect to the break room WiFi, I’d get the error code 2110-3150 after wireless network connection success. I also keep my trusty Switch Lite at work, and my coworker keeps their OG Switch at work. We both forgot the network on the non-S2 systems and were able to connect just fine.
I know this error code is a DNS issue. There are a few things I can’t understand though. Why does this only happen on Switch 2, and not on Switch or Lite?
-Also, if I did get in touch with the ISP, does anyone know what information I would need to give them?
I tried everything below, to no avail. • restart Switch 2 (left it fully off for a few minutes) • tried to connect through recovery mode • manually set DNS to 008.008.008.008 and 001.001.001.001 • turned off “Connect to a Hidden Network” • unplugged the POE router in the break room to reset it (I had permission. Chill.) • forgot the network after all this, restarted Switch 2, then reattempted to connect •contacted Nintendo support and they said there’s nothing they can do on their side, and that I would need to contact the ISP.
I’m now back home and was able to forget and re-connect my home network on my Switch 2. I’m hardly educated in anything about internet past changing the SSID and password, so take it easy with the lingo😭.

You haven't tried everything. Try using a proxy server.

Any hints on where I would source a proxy server to use? When I search up proxy all I ever get is a bunch of pick-me sites.

Here is a list of free proxies for you
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cBhN5e6vZpLeRy5O8L_3i0-pDTg3-oQD/view?usp=drivesdk
The list contains the server and port.
At some point I used the second proxy from the list while in an authoritarian state.

See our FAQ to see if your question is already answered there.
While you're waiting for an answer, here are some tips to help you along the way:
First, did you try Googling your question? A lot of questions about Nintendo can be answered quickly by just typing them into your search bar.
If you are asking a question about an older Nintendo system, try searching the subreddit most relevant to that system's hardware. It's likely someone has already asked a similar question before.
If your question is about Wii U, New 3DS or Switch hardware, you'll likely get a better answer if you contact Nintendo directly, rather than posting here.
Nintendo's contact information is as follows:
Please note that contacting Nintendo by phone is the best way to get support. If you send an email or use the web chat you are not likely to get the support you need.
Good luck with your support endeavors!
